First of all, the service was excellent. I have eaten there many times but in this visit I canât find anywhere that the service team missed a beat. The food quality was very good and prepared well. The Watermelon Salad was a highlight because the melon was so sweet and ripe balanced with the tomato and greens and white balsamic. The pork chop and sides of creamed corn and green beans were summer fresh! I need to talk about the lack of comfort of the dining room chairs. They have no support and you feel as if you are sitting in a bucket and sink too low for the table. To get comfortable you have to sit very straight with your rear braced against the back bar of the seat but you canât sustain that without effort because you slide right back into the sunken seat. The restaurant is beautiful but the chairs need some seat support. $200+ for two people with only 1 cocktail, 1 iced tea, sharing appetizer, sharing salad, 2 entrees and two sides felt a bit steep as the entrees which were the most expensive items were good but not great. Overall very satisfied because of service and the watermelon salad.
Very good experience overall. Great service from the staff. Bread, salmon, sparragus, crab cakes all great. One very minor note the scallops were a bit too salty. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. Thanks.
Spectacular seafood!! Had the diver scallops, horseradish potatoes and mushrooms! Heavenly!!
