I ordered TWO pizzas on Memorial Day for delivery, with tip and fees the total came to $74. I love their pizza and wanted something good so I was okay with the price. However they called and could not deliver it, no problem I picked it up. Both pizzas were burnt so bad it was almost not edible. The cashier at front looked at the burnt pizzas and said nothing, nor did I because it was busy in there already and I never had a bad experience there so I honestly thought it would taste fine.I called and asked them if we could get a discount on the next order, I understand the cost of food these days so I don't want to ask for it to be free. Anyway they refused. The pizza is great if it's not burnt to black but definitely don't leave the place without checking the pizza and speaking up if you need to
I went for the first time on Mother's Day. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a garlic chicken pizza with white sauce. I thought the Maui Zaui pizza at round table was far better but I loved the garlic chicken pizza at Vino's. Slow service but very friendly service. Great atmosphere although small. Kinda expensive but it is gourmet. Would go again for the garlic chicken pizza with white sauce if we had extra money. Had a great time.
I watched the owner Vino cook our pizza. He didn't wear gloves or didn't wash his hands after touching raw meet. Cross contaminated everything he was making. Our chicken wings were rubbery and hard to chew. I watched him cook frozen meet in a plastic bag in the microwave. Then when looking threw the back window in the kitchen door, you could see the dish rack having black mold all over it, were the "clean" dishes are supposed to dry. Our chairs were sticky and the service was rushed and rude. Would never come back here if it was the last pizza place in Carson city.
The atmosphere was very comfortable. The feel of an Italian bistro. The pizza was the best I have had in Nevada. The proprietors were very nice. And Vinos Pizzeria, in Carson City, definitely deserves more than 5 stars!! I’m glad we made the trip into Carson to check it out. We will most definitely be back!!
Was served cold pizza.... I'm sure they have good service, but... Ive had a lot of pizza in my life... Ive never had cold pizza other than the morning after.
The ambient is pretry chill, we went with the gourmet small pizzas for 15.95, Chefalu, Fancy cashew, and Good Molly miss. The dough did not seem to have any salt and tasted a bit bland but the pizza toppings themselves where ok.. Their dessert was delicious, the service was ok and even thou the pizza felt a bit bland for my taste; really just my own personal liking, the overall experience in regards to service & ambient was good.
Great service, extremely attentive and kind staff. The pizza here is amazing. Way better than any chain. You can tell the oven and the way they cook, establishes a fine, and unique flavor.Unmatched in Carson city, you must go here
I’d been trying to eat here at the Sparks location for months, but they weren’t yet open, so I always ended up disappointed. I was finally able to try it out today though, just a couple days after their soft opening. I ordered a small, custom thin crust pizza with white sauce, mozzarella, extra sausage and pineapple and a six-piece order of mango-habañero wings. All I have to say is, “YES.” Everything from the presentation to the texture to the flavor was perfect. The chicken wings were big and juicy - cooked perfectly - and had an amazing flavor with the mango-habañero sauce. The pizza was crispy and had the perfect ratio of high-quality toppings that were each full of flavor. This is probably going to be my new number one local pizza joint. Just delicious!
Swipe left on any low reviews. I sat inside by the register on a busy holiday evening while my delicious food was prepared. Here’s what I noticed. Each and every customer whether eat in or picking up was delighted almost giddy about their food. Old and young, red, brown, black, white legit everyone was raving about how great the food was. As for my pie; Fantastic.
I wasn't going to give Vino's a bad review until I phoned and spoke to the Manager/ Owner this Halloween evening. I tried to explain how the pizza we received this evening was very bland and dry, with zero flavor. He talked over me and said he personally made the pizza etc. etc. I could barely get a word in and explain how unfortunately this is one of the worst pizzas we've ever had from them. He was quite adamant about how he personally made it and hadn't changed a thing about his pizza's. After listening to him go on and on; I just told him, look we spent $45.00 on this large pizza. Which I was quite sure he wasn't going to comp us our money back or a free future pizza. Not that we were looking for that, as being loyal customers. I just thought he'd want to know and I felt he was quite rude with just talking about how he personally made the pizza and hadn't changed a thing about his pizza making. We definitely have decided after months of being loyal customers to Vinos's ever since they've opened here in Carson City, "NOT" to be ordering our pizza's from their establishment anymore. The least the owner could've done was say he was sorry, but I didn't even receive that during our call.
