The staff is super friendly! They have great ice cream.. if you aren't sure which flavor to try.. they are all really good! The location is great too.. right in the heart of Carson City just across from the legislator building.. eat some ice cream.. try some soup.. then go for a nice little walk around the Capitol/Legislator.. then go back for more!!
Interesting corner of the world. Revisiting Carson City after many years to find this unique place. Yummy ice cream, friendly staff, indoor/outdoor seating to enjoy atmosphere and watch children playing in water fountain
Cute place.We went here because they claimed to have vegan options (soups.) when I asked which soups were vegan the friendly boy listed off this chicken soup and two others That were also not vegan. I asked about the vegan soup options and he said the soups change daily okay fair enough. Maybe. Add this to your site. When I asked about nondairy ice cream he pulled out a book. (No biggie I wouldn’t be able to memorize all the ingredients either books are helpful,) then told me one had skimmed milk in it. ?♀️? . Hummmmm. ? fail for sure. I should have gone to So Juicy around the corner but they had just closed.No biggie I’ll never go back. Just please correct your website and educate your staff.
What can I say?! Adorable shop with delicious ice cream and fun lunch items like jackfruit stackers! I was greeted by Grace with a big smile, who was super kind, attentive and interactive with my kiddo, which made my day! The owner Kimberly is very kind and it’s clear a lot of love goes into her business! ❤️
I happened to be working in Carson City last week and made the excellent choice of having lunch at Scoups. I chose the soup and salad and awakened my senses with delicious flavors. A cup of Gary's Chili, the perfect size side salad, a soft warm roll with soft creamy butter. The service was excellent. I was welcomed in and was checked on while I was eating to make sure everything was great. I will be venturing back to Scoups in the near future. A+
A great place to stop for a quick bite to or from RNO. Delicious sandwiches, warm and comforting soups on a cold snowy day. We enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and the split pea soup. Best of all, we finished our lunch with 2 scoops of ice cream! Great service, the lady who helped us was very kind and welcoming. I assume she is the owner but I'm not sure. The other girls working also provided excellent service to the other customers ordering food and ice cream. I will definitely return on my next visit to Tahoe and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick lunch spot.
Grabbed some soups and Ice Cream for a late night dinner and dessert. Definitely recommend you take some time to stop in and have a treat, three ladies working tonight very friendly and took the time to help us pick out our soups and treats.
Ordered strawberry, cookie & cream flavors, they both tastes very good and not too sweet ?
The soup and ice cream is always gold! The only bummer is that they change soups weekly (or at least on a very regular schedule) the good news? You get to try lots of great soups... my favorite is the clam chowder... my daughter's favorite is the Italian wedding... and split pea.... and chicken noodle... and lasagna soup... and probably whatever is on the menu next. The ice cream flavors are similar and ever changing... the lemon meringue is very yummy! Great anytime place to warm up, cool down... or both!
The best of both worlds soup and ice cream. I love this mom and pop shop....I recommend vegetarian chili...and every ice-cream flavor. Wheelchair friendly.
