My brother and I went in about an hour before closing. Our server was nice but it was obvious she was ready to go home. At the beginning of my order I change my mind but on what I wanted but I was served my original order which was cool I guess. The food was pretty good, typical Mexican restaurant fare. During our meal, we were not checked on once. No refill on chips or salsa, no extra napkins and there was salt on my brothers Strawberry Margarita, which, from experience, is usually rimmed with sugar. Might go back, might not. Maybe it was the timing since it was close to closing but, as someone in the industry, the last customer of the day should be treated just like the first customer of the day.
Excellent tequila selection with reasonable prices. We shared the ceviche which was the highlight of the meal. Catfish lime Jalapeño and avocado with cucumber. Thank you, sir. Tableside guacamole made to your liking? Perfect. I had beef taquitos and they were delicious. The tiny portion of beans made up for its size in flavor. I will insist we eat here every time I visit.
We went on Mother's Day. The food was amazing! Out of the food we ordered, I recommend ceviche, rock fish taco, and pastor taco. My 18 mo. old ate their kids chicken enchilada which was also tasty and not spicy. Their salsa is also very good. The service can be improved. I am sure it was just a really busy night though. The food made the wait worth it.
We have eaten here many times when we are in Carson City. Great food, i like the tacos, beans and rice. My wife loves the enchiladas and black beans she says the margarites were great. the service is always great. yes, we will be back!
Absolutely wonderful. Our service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was tasty. The ingredients were clearly fresh and high-quality. The atmosphere was festive and warm. Will definitely go back and recommend it to others.
The best cheese enchilada... coming from California very Mexican style... waitresses great service hospitality....
We heard about this place through friends. It's everything you could ask for in a Mexican food restaurant. The chili relleno was prepared perfectly and the huevos rancheros was very flavourful. The service was exceptional and the overall ambiance was delightful. What really resonated with me was that the price was absolutely reasonable! These days it's hard to find good quality food at a good price. This place has it all!
I ordered the chicken and steak combo fajitas this visit, which were flavorful and plentiful. I think the dish would have been much better hotter but my platter arrived only warm...no piping hot sizzle on my plate like my friend's sizzling enchilada. Maybe my order was waiting on hers? Table side guac was fun. I've been here a few times now with friends who choose it and rave about it. I've had good food each time, but not great. I find it a bit overrated.
Due to the surge in Coronavirus cases I asked to be seated 6 ft away from other patrons. The server refused to accommodate my request. They had an entire section vacant but they stated that section was closed. Instead they wanted to group all the patrons close together in one section. They clearly don't understand how viruses are transmitted and are not at all interested in accommodating a reasonable request. The health department should investigate.
Nice large menu. Nice atmosphere. Good service.The food could taste a bit better, but is good. Better than most others in Carson City, but I've had better.But the prices are quite high which keeps me from coming more often. I've been a half dozen times over the 12 years I've live here.
