Round table is an awesome pizza place. I've never had a bad eating experience. Only problem, they've become quite expensive.
Always a family favorite, besides for the parents wallet! Great pizza though
Updated for 2022: (Rating increased by 2 stars for good customer service)ALERT! Check your pizzas for missing toppings before leaving! BEWARE ordering via delivery services! ALERT!The Carson City Round Table Pizza parlors steadfastly refuse to follow the chain's rules and recipes to the letter. There's a bunch of cons to go over before buying:Firstly, if you're looking to upgrade your lunch special's pizza from a Personal to a Small, you're out of luck. For a while, they allowed upgrading, but they've disallowed the option online.Second, the toppings have been getting more and more sparse, the vegetables used to be cut generously and piled on your pie, but now they're thin ribbons of things, depending on who prepared, perhaps. (Or does your experience differ from this? Are they still generous?)Thirdly, I've found that they leave out toppings from their specialty pizzas, giving you your expensive, marked up pizza without all the promised toppings. You can explain this by saying that it's because they don't have that topping on a given day, but I think it's more likely that they hope you won't NOTICE.Fourthly, they don't check the parking lot for who's waiting for food and don't even really glance at the lobby. They'll put your pizza right into their warmer and hope you run out of patience and come get it. By then, of course, it's hot, but not freshly baked.Fifthly, they run hot and cold in terms of customer service. My most recent experience at this particular parlor was a combination of the two. The cashier was responsible, allowed for slow preparation due to low staffing and thus gave me a complimentary drink that I was going to pay for (a fountain drink). I waited around 30 minutes overtime at a table, and as mentioned, they didn't bring it to me. It stayed in the warmer behind the counter until I came up to claim it. When I found that the pizza was missing Chorizo, Salami, Italian Sausage AND Olives on their Supreme pizza, the cashier asked me what I wanted her to do to make it right. I told her that I wasn't hungry anymore since I ate the pizza because it looked and smelled great. She decided to refund the whole thing, saying it would take around 6 days for it to show. She obviously wasn't happy about it, but did the right thing.Lastly, there isn't any dedicated cashier, They were so strapped for staff they were all working the kitchen. This leads to a long wait until someone's free to take care of concerns/new orders/turning over food.I still am not happy with how expensive these pizzas when no one seems to check orders for errors and the crew get so tired/apathetic that they don't care about filling in orders correctly. Considering how much value you get, their prices were slightly more acceptable back when they piled the toppings on your pie a few years ago. They're clearly cutting costs at the customer's expense.Still the best pizza in town, in my opinion, but Round Table is narrowing the distance between it and other parlors with the local restaurant's management's choices.Again, goodbye 9.99 deals. The chain brought them back, but the Carson City stores don't appear to honor these (they want more money and their response on it was: we think the deals we offer are better for YOU).There isn't a salad bar anymore (they use what used to be one to showcase things now), for those who may want one on the side. (Unless they prepare them in the kitchen, you probably can't get one here.)The drink selection is poor unless you get a fountain drink. If you want your money's worth for a drink, get the fountain drink because you CAN refill the little cup they give you with a paper straw (it's good that they're concerned about our planet's well being, although they straws get a bit soggy after some use!)I hope this helps prospective consumers. You CAN still get a FABULOUS pizza here! They're delicious, no matter what's missing. (So far?)Legend: The on
I'd give a zero if I could. Ordered 2 pizzas at 5pm, 545pm only one pizza was delivered, and it was cold. Second pizza took another 30 mins to get here. Called to report first pizza was cold and asked for a credit on both pizzas for next time Manager said "no" would only credit one pizza that was cold.. Manager working Saturday night 1-28-22, if the owner reads reviews. What a piece of work..
Food was good. Service was lousy. I place order to dine in and they made it to go. I'm disabled and can't afford to leave a tip so they were slow to fix my order in fact so slow 5 other orders were placed and done before my individual pizza and salad were ready. Pretty bad for a supposed good place to get good pizza.
This place is just horribly slow. You get there to pick up your pizza that was supposed to be ready at the time and they tell you you got a wait another 10 minutes or something because they haven’t even put it in yet.
Had the family meet here for my sister's birthday. The staff was fantastic and so was the pizza!
Round Table is a good pizza place and their sauce makes their pizza. However, the men's bathroom was disgusting, smelled like sewer gas and was not clean. I almost lost my lunch. An OK McArthur pizza. The buffet and salad bar were not available. I won't be coming back.
Really love their pizza and I have been away 3 years. When we moved back to the area I had to finally get some great pizza. Unfortunately I spent $81 and some change for 1 family size and a medium cheese and 6 drinks. Way too much monkey.
Ordered one $40 pizza on the app. It kept asking if I was a robot. (Guess robots like pizza too). I didn't receive a confirmation. Called after 11am when they opened. Waited several minutes to find out that the order didn't go through. The girl on the phone said she didn't have the ability to lookup my order on the computer. What is going on over there. No lunch on Friday for THREE of us. Long afternoon. Worst Friday in years.
