We just left KEI Sushi, and all I have to say is WOW! I’ve always loved KEI, we’ve tried the other sushi places in town, this is by far the best one. Tonight, they were packed. I was a bit nervous but was not disappointed one bit. Service was outstanding! Best service from any restaurant in town. I didn’t catch the servers name but she was on top of everything. The food was hands down best sushi in town. Restaurant was clean and welcoming. People seemed happy to be at work (which is super rare now a days). I could see the team work happening, everybody was working hard. They accommodated our special requests, nothing took too long. I could go on and on. Support this business, they deserve it! Five freaking stars!
First time, great service
I have been coming to this place for 5 years and today I am not happy. I ordered to go and they get my order wrong, when I ask them about it they said no it's right. I bring it in to show them they dismiss me saying it's right. The toppings were not correct, it was dry, the rice was old and crunchy, the whole roll fell a part. The toppings look old. If you are going to charge 32 dollars for food you need to make sure you make them right and FIX THE PROBLEM if there is an issue.
Great menu, great and very friendly staff. We live in Tahoe and will totally make the drive to eat here again and again. 10/10 recommend!! The best!
Amazing sushi, great service, and staff are kind. The rolls they offer are unique and delicious. And you still get rolls in a decent time even when they're relatively busy. This is the best sushi in this entire area, hands down. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks it. It's always busy when I go in, whether it's for lunch or dinner and they handle it well. If you aren't willing to wait for a table though, call to make a reservation.
My friend and I had all you can eat. We ordered 4 rolls and 5 appetizers. My friend had an ice cream for dessert. During dessert the Manager came over to tell us there were people waiting to be seated and that we needed to leave, she was extremely rude. My friend wasn't even done eating. We were shocked. My friend had another ice cream and, the manager came over and took every thing in front of us and was extremely rude. We left quietly and will never return, even tipped our server $20. I used to love that place.
Best sushi I've had since I left Hawaii. The head sushi chef's personal roll left my taste buds quivering with delight...TRULY AMAZING

My favorite sushi restaurant ever! They have so many good rolls! And the Kei Tuna and Rooster Salmon are must haves! I could eat here every day! If you’re in the Carson City area you must eat here!
Came here with a friend and even though we didn't have a lunch reservation they were able to seat us at the bar after minimal waiting. Service was excellent and so was the Sushi. I'm still learning what Sushi I like and the chef was very helpful. A lot of local regulars seem to come in and they are treated like family making the atmosphere really cool. Will come back again soon!
