We took our daughter there for her birthday. The service was horrible! We were seated for over 30 minutes before our orders were taken. It took another 1/2 hour to receive our food. We were not served at the same time. The first people served were done eating by the time the last people got their food. Also, the last people to get their food were the first ones to order. The food itself was not to our liking as they “sauces” and “cheese” were exceptionally thick so that the food underneath couldn’t be tasted. Those that ordered the fish and chips and pizza said they were good. Will not be going back to eat. The beer was good.
We have always stopped here when in Carson, we love the industrial atmosphere and the food is always delicious. This visit we were surprised to see it’s now a chain of Great Basin. Some of the items seem the same, but the menu has changed. Food was cold and both of our burgers were dry, my husband ordered more sauce to dip his into, but I just couldn’t eat mine. My iced tea was like herbal water, definitely not tea. They seem to be working stuff out with new staff and the manager came over to check on us, as if he knew things weren’t right. Not sure if we’ll be back honestly.
Popped in just at they opened for lunch at 11A and immediately got a seat at the bar (because no one was here yet!) Filled up relatively quickly but still had attentive service. Had the salmon bowl and was pleasantly surprised, it was excellent! Great piece of fish, lots of garnishes (edamame, pickled cucumber, carrots, cilantro, pickled onion). Very filling. No brewed tea (only fruity weirdness but the server was kind and swapped it out at no charge).
Stopped in with 2 friends for dinner while travelling through Carson City. The place looked like it had a good / fun vibe. And it did. That was the end of "what to like". Our server was very slow to attend to us and was unable to answer many of our questions about the menu. Half of our food showed after quite a long wait and it was lukewarm, the rest showed after we asked where it was, and it was entirely cold. This place could be good with some work.
Here we go ...Michaela the bartender... WOW!!!We ordered the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup and a French Dip.The appetizer was amazing, great combination of flavors, perfectly balanced. The soup was boldly flavored, rich and creamy deliciousness!French Dip was very very good also. There initially were a few service issues, mostly timing and communication. But were resolved after a couple of conversations.Michaela (bartender) made the night. She created my drink & basically knocked my socks off. Michaela knows her stuff; she kind & friendly, and very knowledgeable ... thanks so much Michaela❣️?I had to go a full 5 stars after all was said and done because there are 2 stars at this show... Makayla and the chef.Decor & atmosphere are pretty amazing too.
it has been a while since we have eaten her. The last time we were there my wife had fish tacos and I had the Brewery Burger, both were very good The service was very good. We will be back.
The service was horrible - it took half an hour for our food to be served, and our waitress even forgot the appetizer and one of the main dish. Not did she check on us or refill our water. They threw the bill on the table when we finished.Ordered the popular fried chicken sandwich, it was good overall but way too salty & chicken was not thick enough. Would not visit again with the service we had.
The staff, food, and ambiance is fantastic! Amy was friendly, she refilled our water jug without us asking, the staff are team players and help one another out and stop by to ask how we’re doing. Pizza is wood fired, the Carson burger gigantic, their fries and ketchup are so good.Would gladly recommend coming here based on their service and wide selection of food.
Good food. The ribs were okay. A bit dry. My partner had a burger and enjoyed it. Small outdoor seating area, but it looks like there are big side doors that can open up in the spring and summer time. It was really awesome they have a non-alcoholic mixed drink available on their menu! I did not try it, but maybe next time!
What a fun place to visit. We've visited here multiple times and the food is consistent. They also have shifting (seasonal) menu of artfully crafted cocktails that are wonderfully enjoyable. I appreciate this restaurant and the effort their staff makes to provide wonderful food, drink and a kind environment.
