I can’t give negative stars, too bad. After waiting about 45 minutes for a Cioppino, it came with at least 5 unopened clams. I flagged the next passing server and requested a correction. The calms I dug out were whisked away, and shortly returned forced open. I refused to accept them, a chef was escorted to my table. He had a clam and exclaimed in a raised voice that they were fine and I wouldn’t get sick as he extracted the clam with his bare finger and swallowed it in front of us all. Upon review of a picture I took of my dish one of the clams looked like it didn’t even get fully submerged in the soup. I do not trust the food safety and quality here.
My SO and I have gone here several times and it’s always an amazing experience! The new owner is such a fun and kind person. His staff is also very friendly and well versed. The food is incredible! We’ve brought other people in as well who loved the place and brought in more people! There was only one time we went there and had a poor experience, gave them another try and told them about the negative experience and they definitely took care of us and more than made up for it. We highly recommend this outstanding restaurant for some amazing food and service.
Back from international travel for our second visit and it was exceptional. We had dinner in August, 2021 and enjoyed it, and this was even better. Great service, nice sized portions, but most importantly, deliciously seasoned food reminiscent of our visits to Italy. Definitely on our regular visit list.
Had clams and linguini. My wife had ravioli. Both were really good.They were really busy, so we had to wait, but when the food arrived, it was good.
The wife and I go here about every 3 to 4 months. This place never lets us down. Always have great customer service and food to match. Will be continuing to go here.
came with a group of 4, one person really didn’t like their food. everyone in my group tried it and agreed. still charged us. really hoping my tip goes to only my server. the person next to us was burping and then threw up her food.update: got food poisoning, coulda been anything i ate that day but not gonna factor this place out
Great atmosphere. An intimate experience for a couple, we always visit as 2 couples. Service is great. Some places are over-attentive which spoils the experience for me. Menu selection is good, prices are OK, food is pretty good. We visit a few times a year and will continue.4 stars, but I'm nice. :)
A small place with very good food and large portions. The door opening all the time keeps the place slightly uncomfortable from cold air coming in. Asked to be seated as far back away from the door as possible. Highly recommended!
We love this place and the food in the past however, in December we went there for a birthday. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive. Every time she came to our table, she went to the bathroom (which was in our view). She must of gone 12 times, it was weird and concerning. She also ate her Panda Express in her work station (in our view). The whole thing was weird. The food took forever and the marinara sauce was just okay. :{
I came for my birthday, and as always, the food was fantastic! I was happy to find out they had added more wines to the by- the- glass selection. Our server Slate was attentive even though they were very busy. Thank you for an excellent birthday dinner!
