Absolutely amazing! Fast service, great food, and so glad we found this amazing restaurant. Definitely the best Chinese food in Carson City!
I been eating at this place since I was a kid. I love China east!! I've love it since and love it now. The only thing I can't seem to get use to is the gal "owner" of the restaurant attitude!! Ever since I remember she's always been really rude, idk. Maybe just her personality?What's funny now it's my kids, saying. oh were going with the grumpy lady? ??♀️She's lucky I love her food.Because, if it was anywhere else I wouldn't go back ?♀️I just can't let her go, it's one of our oldest restaurants in town!
A vegetarian friendly Chinese food spot. Hot & sour soup was rich with flavor. Spring rolls were hot and fresh to the effect of consumers desire.Hotei Buddha blesses ? the incoming and outgoing with luxurious Abundance. Check out his bow tie ?!A drive thru option keeps this off to the side of hwy 50 Chinese food spot hoppin' and happin'en .. dining room is small but allowable to those special few that fit in and belong amongst the mustard seed of possibility.This is Carson City Chinese. Expect strange fortune cookies.. but good food.
Reasonable prices, Reasonable portions, good service. Will definitely eat there again.
Food was good 1st time we ordered there, mid December. Week between Christmas and New Year was okay. Tonight's order they didn't put ANY Cashews on/in the Cashew Delight!! . The Sesame Chicken was way too much breading on chicken, some pieces had very little chicken and there was hardly any sauce.??? will try again but verify before accepting order.
I ordered the Wor wonton soup yesterday. I can not tell you how disappointed I was. The soup had no flavor at all and it was basically clear water. I will never eat at China East again.
The service was fast using the drive thru. When I got home there was enough food for 2 more meals! And I was hungry!! So yummy.
We ordered egg drop soup, to go. We got home to find we had tiny pieces of chicken wrapped in foil and a carton of rice. My husband took the food back to have them correct our order but all be got was an argument. They said he didn’t order the egg drop soup correctly!!! One star is one too many
The food is pretty good but the customer service and the experience is atrocious. I have not dealt with a more rude group of people anywhere. When I handed my card to pay the man snatched it out of my hand and when I held my hand out for him to return it he tossed it onto the counter. I must have said Thank you over a dozen times during the meal and not one time was it acknowledged. Not one time did any of the staff members smile. I was extremely uncomfortable in there and I will never visit them again because they are rude and do not appreciate their customers.Now that I think about it to demonstrate to them how important being kind to your customers are I encourage everyone willing to call them place an order to go but never show up to pick it up. If they are going to treat their customers with rudeness perhaps they should get rudeness back. Cause and effect.
Decent food, nice change and worthy of a try. I will be going back. The main thing that I was not happy with was the grumpy workers. The main tall guy, perhaps the owner was a bit cold, short and didn't want to answer questions about the menu. Was off-putting!
