Man what a disappointment, this place used to be great back when it was Kim Lee's. Now management has changed and I gotta say what a let down. Some of the fish was good, but the amount of rice given would almost dilute the taste of the fish you were putting on it. The cuts were of good size, but some of the fish like the tuna was just not cut right leaving long fast lines down the fish making in inedible. The salmon was cut right, the albacore was good. All in all it was a let down for the price. I usually go to Oishi next door, however they are closed on Wednesday and we decided to try something else. The server bringing me the fish didn't even know what she was bringing.
Quite simply the best sushi you can eat in the entire Reno. Sparks Carson City lake Tahoe area. I mean it. Check out their menu. See the innovative ingredients they are using and without a doubt come taste the Miles Davis roll and you'll know what I'm talking about. Also, the service and chef staff are on the ball and know what they're doing.
What a great little gem! I popped in here while in town on business. I had a great late lunch / early dinner. It was one of the few places open at that time. The atmosphere was charming, the staff welcoming and the food delicious. I really loved the freshness of the sea serpent ?. I'll definitely come again when I'm back this way.
3/9/22 430pm- we will never go back. So disappointed! Horrible female server, finally complained to the guys in the chef area and Cody started helping us. The gal stayed hidden in the front area where no customers were. There was only one other couple so they were not busy, and now we know why. My husband said it was the worst sushi he has ever had. He has had a lot. It was a waste of our Anniversary dinner. I was excited and willing to eat a high carb meal, but this was so disappointing. The food was hard to decide what to get because the options were so odd. I did not want pickled carrots in my sushi but ended up with some by mistake and it was terrible. What we did eat, really was not good, and too much rice on much of it. Next time, we will go back to Tomo's with great service, tasty food, and we are not left twiddling our thumbs waiting for something to eat. We don't see how this place will survive.
Love this place. Go to date night for me and girlfriend. Service is great! Food is great! I recomend the all you can eat sushi for $26. A few times when I could not finish a role they even gave me a box to take home. Always love going in here. Owner is usually there and remembers/greets us. We go there once or twice a month.
Me and my wife came in on a Thursday for lunch. The sushi was great and the customer service was excellent. Only problem I had was no seating at sushi bar because of covid. Also I felt they need more female servers!
My wife and I walk by this restaurant quite often the owner was outside on the phone one night he looked at my wife up and down as if she was a piece of sushi and then smiled as if he was going to get lucky. I won't step foot in a place where the owner doesn't respect women or their husband. No dignity, or self control.

We had a late lunch and everything was very fresh. The rice was perfect and more fish than rice. Can’t wait to go back!!
The sushi was FANTASTIC! I will absolutely be going back as much as possible… and the prices are extremely competitive.
