We walked in about 1:15 PM today. It wasn’t very crowded at all maybe 10 tables that we saw were occupied. We saw about 6 to 7 employees walking around and there was one family ahead of us waiting to be seated. We sat next to that family and we were waiting for any type of acknowledgment but nothing came our way. We even saw the manager who popped out of the kitchen look out towards us he walked around the bar then back into the kitchen. Finally after waiting for about eight minutes the young man came and took the family that was ahead of us to be seated without acknowledging us or another family that popped in after us. He came back and grabbed the other family that came in after us and sat them down and my wife and I just looked at each other and we both knew what we had to do. So we got up and left. Being that it was 115 after the lunch rush with minimal tables filled and multiple employees observed as well as the manager being observed and not being acknowledged we knew that this was a bad sign. The icing on the cake was being skipped to be seated. Plenty of staff visible and minimal guests observed there was no excuse. We won’t come back here it’s not worth it.
My wife and I came here tonight after having a rough time at another restaurant that we got up and left from. We were hungry and tired from working all day, and just wanted something to eat. Our waitress was gave us the best experience and made our night better. I believe her name was Nikki, but don’t quote me on that. She was very attentive, kind, had a great personality and was very helpful. The food was spot on and absolutely wonderful. I recommend going here. They definitely know how to treat guests. Best experience!
We went Thursday and this was very disappointing. My wife ordered a drink which took 35 minutes to bring to the table. She ordered a second drink which we had to cancel after waiting forever once again. We got the 2 for$27. I was discouraged to find out we could not substitute sides. The mashed potatoes were unedible. I understand some corners had to be cut to survive the government's harsh reaction to covid. But now that some local small business eateries are gone forever, it makes it less likely that corporate restaurants will improve without the competition from roll up your sleeves hard working mom and pop restaurants. It would take an awful lot for me to ever try this Applebee's ever again. Not how I want to spend my money.
I always appreciate the staff that goes the extra mile during covid! Food always outstanding! How can you criticize a person who is willing to work and literally do every job in the restaurant? Dave Robinson
I'm done with the Papillion Location. It's decent food but 3 times I've had multiple missing items in my pick up order. 1st time they made it right. I let it slide the 2nd time. 3rd time I called and gave up after no apology, being put on hold, and they still got it wrong when it was rudely repeated back to me. I wish you could tip after you pick it up. I really appreciate picking up food and not having to cook so I make sure to give a good tip. But when they can't be bothered to get a simple burger and sides order right, that's disappointing.
We watched as all the workers were racing to accommodate during these difficult times. Kuddos in particular to our tremendous waiter, Jeff O. Great, great service!! Linda Andersen
Walked in on a Friday night. Party of 6, 10 minute wait, no big deal. Sit down, order. Drinks come out in due time, save one order from the bar. 20 minutes later that shows up. 20 minutes later appetizer shows up. Walked out 20 minutes after that (hour wait as a whole).Restaurant was half full at best and in that time 4 other tables were seated, served and left. Wont be going back.
What a Experience. Asked for ice tea no lemon with sweet n low. Several minutes later she returned. We don’t have any ice tea. We would have to make it. Really ok. I’ll take bourbon steak with o rings instead of broccoli. Sir steak doesn’t come with broccoli. Mam is says here steaks served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Sir it doesn’t come with. But it says so here. Menu’s wrong I’ll get my manager. I’m thrilled. Just wanted simple and quiet dinner. Manager comes to table. I’m thinking just leave but hungry. So too long a story but explained to manager. She informed me again menu’s wrong. Not to mention wrong pictures under steaks as well. Redue your menu than. Your a restaurant depends on menu’s get it right or take black marker and cross off. Got my tea. Yes with lemon of coarse. Can’t wait for dinner. I’m out permanently.
Had a pickup for doordash. Very slow inside but I had to find someone to help me as no one was available at the to-go station and the order was behind the register in kitchen area and not on the rack marked for delivery/pickups. The bartender acted like he didn't see me and the waiter I found rushed me away as he was putting In an order. The gal who did help me was very nice & even double checked the order for meNot a terrible experience, just really puts into perspective how short staffed everywhere is, employees are drained in every way possible.A simple hello & thank you go a long way, and I appreciated the gal for her upbeat attitude, definitely left me with a smile. Kindness is free, pass it on! ☺
Waited forever! They took my money from me at my car at 6:17, it is now 6:50, still waiting!!!! Other cars come and go, Last time ever that I will leave a tip! Corn grows faster!
