I come here late at night for my guilty pleasure...Donuts! There is typically a big variety of donuts. A little pricy in my opinion..for a half a dozen it's about 10.00. Maybe prices went up overall but I been to Krispy cream maybe 4 months ago and I thought it was about 6.00 for half a dozen.
Wanted to support a local donut place and hadn’t been there in awhile. Got a dozen assorted and every donut seemed to be at least day old donuts. Very disappointed!!!
Greeted warmly at the door by the baker and owner. Beautiful assortment of tasty soft donuts. Bravo.
FOOD 5 STARS. FOR SERVICE 2.5 STARS.Apple fritter donuts to live for. There donuts are to live for.. BUT, the man and unfriendly lady need to work on their social skills.

It has been a long time since I have been to Winchell's since moving far away, but it was still great. They still have an excellent selection of donuts and they are still delicious. The shop has been under new ownership for the past two years and the owners were their working and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this Winchell's!!!
An old favorite, glad it is still around and survived the pandemic. Best donuts ever. Way better than Dunkin, Krispy, and any other Donut Shop in Omaha by far.
We make a point of driving across town to Winchell's due to the consistent quality and selection of their cake donuts. Being open 24 hours it seems like everything is always fresh. We mixed cake donuts, cruellers, and apple fritters on this trip.
