Wish I would’ve taken a photo of the best burger I had in a while, but I was too busy enjoying it. I gotta thank Dan (I had to ask his name, of course), kitchen manager at Hy-Vee/Wahlburgers - it was absolute perfection. ?It isn’t always this good, but he reassured me that he’s working on talking to the staff. ??
I waited 20 minutes for my order and spent 15$ on a kids meal and a side of onion rings that looked gray when I opened the box. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.
I understand things happen, but really bummed and shocked by things being out of stock—like the sweet potato tots and other side options. I tried the endless boneless wings, and would have been better if they had put an appropriate amount of the sweet chili sauce and then not drowned my second batch with a less-than-tasty barbecue sauce.I'll say this though: the fries were hot and fresh and delicious, and the wait staff were friendly and helpful when needed.
Second time there. The burgers are small for the price. This time the food was cold except for the tater tots. They were out of a lot of items. Which is normal nowadays.The jalapeno burger was tasty just cold. So the food is good just not cooked to where it will all comes out fresh.
I tried Wahlburgers for the first in Minnesota and I loved it. I tried it here in Omaha for the second time and it was disappointing. For the price it is definitely not worth it. It’s sad to say that the impossible burger at burger king is better.

The chicken and swiss egg rolls were really good, crunchy and cooked perfectly. The patty melt was really good and the tater tots were great save are them with the spicy ketchup. They weren't over salted either. Also ordered a side of the mac n cheese with the panko bread topping and it was very good. Noodles were cooked perfectly saved not over done and seasoned well, really good cheese was nice and smooth and not watery.
Why in a HyVee !?!?!?I've been to a few of these in my travels. I was absolutely blown over to see this in a grocery store !!!! Our party of 6 walked out!Please build a stand alone restaurant and watch the cash flow in !
Our burgers were undercooked and so were the fries. Not impressed at all will take honest abes over this anyday especially for the price. Would not recommend will not return.
Terrible. Waited over 15 minutes for a $13 to go salad. Lettuce was witty, chicken was rubbery, and there were about 10 kernels of corn on my street corn chicken salad. Do not recommend.
