Our visit this evening of 4 adults and a 6 year-old was so delightful and worth every penny! The toasted ravioli and cheese bread were incredible. The baked ravioli was awesome, as well as the "Big Vinnie Combo". Tiramisu was incredible as well! Thank you to our waiter( sorry that I didn't get your name) and the hostess that keep checking on us and brought the desserts! Great service! Great food!. If I lived closer, I would be back tomorrow night! But our next trip to Omaha will include Vincenzo's!
We will come back ,I will recommend. Although I have 1 negative comment , it must be a busy nite or maybe short staff , the lady in charge ask the girl in charge to sit us where is the empty table , she responded “I’m confused , I don’t really know” . A server commented”isn’t that your job?” And laugh. This same man was asked by the lady in charge to take us and he said “no, I already have this other table” . We were about to walk out after hearing this back and forth , but I gave them another chance . Food was good , not excellent considering the price , wine was good . They need to educate the servers , people hears everything in the front desk .
This is the best Italian food in Omaha. Great pasta sauce, salads, soups, St. Louis style pizza (which, admittedly, is an acquired taste for many). I particularly love their chicken cannelloni.
I came in looking like a Ruffian and was treated like royalty by Miriam!I cannot say enough how amazing this restaurant is. Opened in 1993 and as a first time visitor I wish I had visited before. The big name restaurants have nothing on this.My food is absolutely delicious and so unexpected. Great bread, best house salad with homemade dressings I wish I could bottle up and take home. The red potatoes my wife had were fabulous. I got the vegetables and they can probably make a meatatarian change their diet! The ambiance is so relaxing. I am just loving it all. Pictures, lighting, music, and colors set the mood. Very romantic.Do yourself a favor, life is short don’t miss this opportunity! There is a bar if your interested in that sort of thing.
We will definitely go back! The toasted ravioli and the garlic bread are to die for. Probably, I will be dreaming about that garlic bread until I go back again ?. Our server, Kristin accommodated my request to replace the pasta with something else and offered me a side sauce as well.I would give this place a 5 stars but the lady organizing the seating was unprofessional and acted rude. My husband and I were at the front of the line waiting to be seated and the lady asked who was here first? so my husband said us, she ignored us and looked at the couple behind us and they pointed at us and told her that we were here first. She did not want to take our words .. that was extremely rude and unprofessional, happened today 03/19 around 6:15 - 6:20 pm or so. I wish she was wearing a name badge so I can report her to management. I did not want to raise my voice or say something rude because she was an older lady, out of respect. I hope that will not happen again to us or to any other people.
The food was okay. Super greasy. My brother ended up puking from it. We were a party of 5 and got way over billed by around $50. Got charged for a dish we ordered but didn’t get (forgot that we ordered it until we had already left). Didn’t realize it until I added all of our stuff up. It was a $300 bill. I think they added on extra gratuity even though we tipped them $100. It was a fun night though and the servers were super nice, funny, and accommodating so it wasn’t all bad.
This is my husband's favorite restaurant. He loves Italian food, and their sauce is not too sweet. The food was great and waitress and the chief wonderful to work with. The chief came out 3 times to make sure he was cooking something we all could eat. Of six of us 3 of us had allergies. No garlic and peppers for one; no lactose for another; and no tomatoes for another. This was so helpful and kind of them to care so much. We will be going there again. It was my husband and my birthday, so we got free dessert. Yummy
Fantastic dinner! Everything we ordered was delicious (bruschetta, lobster ravioli special, baked ravioli, kids fettuccine Alfredo, kids cheese pizza). Romantic ambiance for date night but kid-friendly options available too. Definitely can't wait to come back and try other menu items!
Poor management.. did not handle request and issue with food in the professional manner that I would expect from a restaurant like this. It was my first time here and I wanted to treat my family to somewhere with quality food and service. Fell far short of my expectation.
We all were trying it for the first time. We come from a family raised with an Italian uncle who had a landmark Italian restaurant until his death 2 years ago. All I can say is, Vincenzo's needs to do away with the Provel cheese on everything. Not one of the 5 of us cared for it. Overwhelms everything you're eating with it. Italian dressing was not good. Was hoping for some delicious authentic, made from scratch tasty dressing. My mother had creme brulee for dessert. Terrible. Tasted like a vanilla pudding under the carmelized crust. I don't have a desire to go there again.
