Very good home cooked meals. The wait staff was beyond what I would ever expect anywhere. Never had to ask for refills, checked on us many times!!! Awesome food and staff. Nice work everyone. You should be proud!!

With so many delicious choices of comfort food waiting for you it is always a worthwhile wait! Coffee and drinks are served promptly upon sitting down. Orders come out quickly. We had hot and fluffy blueberry pancakes, tender chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, moist sausage patties with eggs that were made-to-order, german hashbrown potatoes with scallions. Friendly servers, happy patrons.
A good honest cafe. Big mugs of coffee and a hearty meal are why I love this place. My father in law likes to take us here when we visit and we've had breakfasts and lunches, both were made well. Comforting food with no surprises. We especially liked their pancakes.
Totally forgot to take pictures, but I ordered the chicken fried steak with 2 eggs, hash browns, and 2 pancakes... So much food for the price! Love the atmosphere!
Had nine ladies join me for lunch at this establishment and we were very impressed. The food was totally comfort food, i had the Western Omelet and the dollar pancakes with the best crispy hashbrowns ever. Not a complaint from my friends just a nice experience by all. The service was with a smile and the accommodations from one table to another was made available with no hesitation. Will truly visit again.

This is just good, solid, unpretentious Diner food. I have only been here for breakfast, but they also serve lunch. Everyone that works here has always been super friendly and the waitstaff is great. I have never had any issues with the food. It has always been prepared just as I ordered it. They're also in the PinPoint rewards program.
Great food, great service and good prices. I had the patty melt which was awesome, the burger patty wasn't one of those frozen mass produced hockey pucks but a homemade well seasoned patty. Fries were hot and crunchy. Definitely recommend!

An Omaha classic. If you want a hearty meal and good service, Vidlak's is a great choice. Fantastic West Omaha diner. No frills, but great. ?
