Normally we absolutely love Toppers. However we had an issue the last time we ordered, where there was a bite taken out of our food and it looked like it had been dropped .When I called and explained the issue, it took over a week to get a refund. The managers are super nice there and understanding. But it doesn’t excuse that someone dropped our food and also there was a BITE taken out of our wings.
The chicken buffalo macaroni and Cheese pizza is outstanding! Probably the best variation of a mac and cheese pizza I've ever tasted.The tator tot pizza is really good too. Loved the garlic cheesy breadsticks and can't wait to try more of the options!
This location pales in comparison to the other one in Omaha. The first pizza I ordered from them was sketchy in taste. Upon second chance, I ordered their Vegan Buffalo Ranch pizza and I was sent an order of Topperstix. The box was labeled correctly and all my sauces were in there so I don’t know what happened.
I do delivery for this place and based off what I see when I go pick up makes me not want to even indulge in a dining experience. It's usually 1 or 2 people and the Person in the front I always checking people put, touching money, giving back change and they never wash their hands. Talk about cross contamination. I would even respect it better if you put on gloves. They always go from the register and then straight to making pizzas. I understand that the the goes into a over above 360 degree and the germs should be killed, but my thing is this if they are doing that how clean is the oven? How clean are the utensils, are they paying attention to hold times? I have so many questions that I just opt out not to try it. Thats just me it's a blessing and a curse of being serve safe certified and working in the fast food industry for over 16 years, I have seen it all and when I see those red flags as a patron I would rather cook at home. I'm not bagging on the Resturants in my reviews, I'm not trying to ruin business, but I am trying to bring things that I notice to the owners attention so that they can do better and give their customers the best experiences possible. What bothers some does not bother others and I'm just giving my opinion and experiences as examples to make Omaha Step Up their Game!!!
I ordered pizza and it took over an hour and a half to get to me (I did order during a somewhat busy time and I know they are short staffed). The driver was very pleasant and apologetic. The person who answered the phone when I called to check on the status, however, needs to take a lesson from his driver. This man was extremely rude and sounded irritated when I called. He was very disrespectful in his responses to me as well. I understand the staffing shortage and ordering during a busy time but don’t take your anger or frustration out on the customers. Not a good look.
Ordered thru door dash. The cheese sticks and I've pizza were awesome. One pizza had way too much seasoning sprinkled on. Nearly inedible. Pretty great for 2am delivered though.
I had fun going in to pick up my food! They are all so friendly! Probably the most welcome Ive felt since moving to omaha from Virginia a few months ago. Thank you for great experience Toppers you made my day!
Called our order in advance. The young man who took the order did not place it correctly. Waited 20 minutes for the order to be made after I paid even though we called it in 25 minutes prior. Then it took 10 minutes for "the manager" come around to the counter after I had explained my order is wrong. They just starred at the screen. At this time I left. It had been a long day and I just wanted to go home with the wrong pizzas in tow. Even then, the crust was tough and chewy. I noticed they were using sheeted dough. Dough that has proofed pass the point of being used and should be discarded. We might give the 114th Street a shot but not the one by 72nd and Dodge again.
It was my first time ever trying this place...I'm not giving the food or speed or cleanliness 5 stars, no. I am giving it (the x5 stars) to the few employees I got the luxury in meeting. We ordered carryout it said it would be ready in about 20 to 25 mins well long story short we waiting for a minimum of an hour before I went in to ask what was up... They said the got the text that was sent saying we were outside ready for our curb side order. And I kid you.l not, it probably took. Another half hour at least but the dude there was super friendly and personable. I'm not even gonna lie, I will return here for another try cuz I understand that it gets chaotic sometimes and I did enjoy my pizza and the cashier, front of house, guy was friendly enough to save these guys from a bad review. He kept me up to date and offered his apologies and something to drink while I waited for the pizza and bread sticks. Not a complete waste of a first experience but it's not crossed off for no return. Plus the left overs were eaten too so thanks for the good qualities cuz to me that means more than a rushed pizza or rude costumer service.
Just got a pizza and wings, it took 40 minutes and the pizza was not even hot when i got it, It took them about 5 minutes to even acknowledge that I was there as they saw me walk in they went to the back…. If that continues they are gonna lose customers smh some staff needs retrained on customer service.
