First time here. Small music venue. Nice mix of seating and standing options. Several local bars and restaurants
We saw a great show here recently. The place was fairly packed and the A/C kept up to the point I was chilly in my tank top. The atmosphere was great, the sound wonderful. My only complaint was finding parking! :)
Love this venue! I've enjoyed it here since before the remodel, but now it is a great place to see a show.
Saw Built to Spill and Sunbathe and the venue was nice and it felt intimate compared to some larger venues I’ve seen them play in Lawrence, KS and Kansas City, MO.We arrived early and sat in the barstools directly behind the soundman. During the opening band I took a quick walk around the venue, and we were definitely right to sit where we did. The sound was excellent! As well was the view.It was my first Waiting Room show, and while I still prefer the Slowdown and RecordBar in KC, I will definitely visit this venue again for the right show.Thanks Waiting Room! The only complaint I could have was when I ordered a Manhattan that turned out to be almost all vermouth, but when I took it back to the bar I was given a shot of Old Overholt Rye that fixed it right up, free of charge. I dropped a $10 tip for the graciousness. The staff there were excellent.
I have seen some great shows here!Even though I wish there were more hotels closer to the venue to make it a little more convenient but it’s in a cute little area and my friends loved the set up in the venue!Never a bad time at the waiting room!???
It wasn’t really handicapped accessible and parking is crummy. I enjoyed the show there tonight.

Great place for a small concert! It can get pretty crowded but it's not ridiculously overcrowded. I think its a 250 limit. Neat posters on the wall of past shows. Loved it!
Rock of Ages is fantastic. Thought I was getting an 80s cover band and got an emotional Rollercoaster filled with great music. Bartenders were great too. Highly recommend the venue and especially this show.
Really cool venue with a well stacked bar. Very intimate setting, bar staff could be nicer.
