The food at little ves was amazing. The snotty rude blonde bartender not so much. She was not very accommodating at all. After she spilled my drink I asked her why it wasn’t full she said she spilled it. I asked her if I could have a full drink and she copped an attitude and told me it was the same amount of liquid after she literally just told me she spilled it everywhere. I am a bartender. So unacceptable. She also looked like she just rolled out of bed. So disappointing.
They have a good variety of food to choose from, including many vegan options. The location is great, although finding parking can be tricky. Having the bar and all these food options together is really convenient.
I think El Arepon is the standout here. The quality of the food is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. There is potential for this Food Hall but with so much constant turnover and the lack of parking it’s just not ideal. If you have to park 3 blocks away at a meter it’s just not convenient. Too many restaurants coming and going too. Here today- gone tomorrow kinda thing. Fix your parking situation- right now there really isn’t any free parking. Too many people PACKED into a small area makes parking impossible. I stopped going because there was free parking when it opened then they started charging for parking. It doesn’t work when you have to dodge traffic, cross a busy street to walk up the street to eat.
Dirty Birds fried chicken is about the best I’ve had… the Debo Style was just enough sweet and just enough spicy - SO GOOD
The chicken sandwich at the Dirty Bird was great. BIG enough to share, fries aplenty. A bit overpriced for chicken but what that hay. The mother clucker was good !!!
It was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last. I was excited to try Little Ve's (vegan) since they had just permanently moved in, and they did not disappoint. I wanted the entire menu but instead settled for the torta and tots. Plus, since it was their opening day, they gave out free juice! Holy yum!
I go to switch on a regular and , for the first time ever the “bar Manager” Langdon or Landon , was EXTREMELY RUDE , after I asked for service after being walked passed for 8 straight mins while at his bar , made it appoint to let me and my buddies no that he didn’t have to serve us because he’s the manger . If it wasn’t for itis food at the pop up I would never go back
the bar tender Landon..was rude. got loud and attracted attention when someone asked for service after being walked past.and then he came back to the argument again minutes later. very unprofessional to continue an argument with a customer no matter who is right or wrong. just looks bad and changed the mood. as a business owner I know how things should be handled and what I saw tonight was totally the opposite. and I represent 26 bars and restaurants in omaha. probably won't be going back.
Dirty Birds - first of all, this food fall is so fun and such a great idea! My husband and I have eaten at Dirty Birds a few times now and wow is it good. The fries are sticky with their special sauce and every meal comes with a couple of their green beans...SO GOOD! And a very nice added touch. I do wanna say....every time I come, I get a huge stomach ache...so beware!
I ate at Dirty Birds recently and fell in love with their food! Their chicken sandwich is amazing and their fries are so delicious.I have also tried El Arepon and their Arepas are so tasty! The service at both places was very fast and friendly. I will be back!!
