The manager has really good eyebrows. This is the main reason why I always go back to The Homy Inn. Also, I love their strawberry champagne ON TAP!
Tiny little bar, but super cool atmosphere! Place is covered wall to wall in beer and music memorabilia, all kinds of other little nostalgia bits too. They've got the good jukebox! Just missing a patio.
What a gem! The Homy Inn is a great place to hang out and drink pitchers of champagne! Definitely a first for me but not the last. The staff was friendly and the crowd was rowdy. My kinda place.
Local landmark! No arrogance, just leans into it's local-icon, dive-bar identity. As an out-of-towner, this was a fun Saturday afternoon stop for a piece of Omaha that wouldn't make the glossy tour book, but it's clearly loved by its community. When we arrived there was a wedding party enjoying their final sips before heading on. Known for its champagne and sangria on tap, and the champagne flight is cheap and generous. Also offers some respectable craft beers and a few interesting finds among the top shelf spirits. Small space packed with tables, tiny but serviceable bathrooms, something to catch your eye on every wall and the ceiling, and even a pinball machine. Gushes with history, some authentic and some reproduced. Had a fun time taking in the whole experience!
The bar is quite small, but that can be a good thing. The place is cozy and the staff is friendly. There's only one TV (I think). The wall and ceiling art are very cool. Nice for just a couple of people to grab a drink. Not ideal for large groups.
I don’t have enough good things to say about this place and if I could, I’d make this my permanent home bar. Fun atmosphere with friendly staff and great people watching opportunity. Drinks were inexpensive. I was surprised by the craft beer selection as well. 5/5
Great dive bar. Packed on a Saturday night. Named one of the 50 best bars in the U.S by Esquire magazine. You have to go to have the champagne on tap.
Strawberry Champagne is amazing, even if it is on tap. A couple tabs are a bit awkwardly positioned, but overall a great hangout spot! One downer is how there is only one entrance/exit, major fire hazard.
Spent a pleasant evening here with friends. It's a small venue - but charming. The pics on the reviews don't do it justice. A huge variety of beer...not sure where they put it all! Champagne and sangria on tap. Ordered in pizza from the place across the street (also excellent). Note - Very narrow bathroom doors from what i could see, so if you've got accessibility issues you might call ahead for more info.
Love the Homy been going there for 16 years. Friendly bar staff and patrons. Huge range of beers and champagne and sangria on tap. I recommend it highly.
