This is the “scoop” it received. It took up maybe half the bowl. To top it off, the ice cream was filled with ice chunks. Pretty disappointed in our experience. Would not recommend. We certainly won’t be back.
I loved my purple cow ice cream at Ted & Wally's. The site was very cool and retro, the flavor choice was ample, and service was great. I definitly made the right choice to stop here on a hot Omaha day. Make sure to visit when you are in the Old Market area.
The ice cream is BEYOND delicious we tried pear sorbet, cookies&coffee, and London fog and they were all incredible!! The most creamy and flavorful ice cream I’ve ever had, and it’s so cool to walk in and see them actually making ice cream by hand! Shout out to the staff working today everyone was so incredibly friendly and helpful!
The only thing that ever changes about this Old Market gem is their daily flavors. Love this sweet spot. Today’s flavors that we tried were “slutty brownie” & the classic “cotton candy”….and yes, they were both delicious.
It was fun. Staff very helpful and fun. Loved my ice cream and I do not usually get ice cream but this looked so good, I had to try it. the girl helping me was very helpful and helped me decide which flavor to get. I was not disappointed.
The line at Ted and Wally’s was out the door. Literally. A full half hour wait for a limited menu of a dozen ice cream flavors. Some were standard. I opted for the confectioner’s cherry pie, cherry ice cream with pie crust. It was different and tasted better with every bite as the ice cream mixed with the filling. But it was $6 for one scoop and a very long wait.
This place is extremely popular, especially on weekends. Monday is the best day to go if you can. This is an iconic "must do" as the ice cream is all hand-made, and there were somewhere between 15 and 20 flavors listed on the board. They also offer free "taste tests" so you know just what you are getting.
Very good ice cream. I would say it's a little creamier and richer than your average kemps. They have many unique flavors that rotate. There was a lot of different kinds of chocolate, had a spicy one and few Easter themed ones.A few spots for parking. They allow free samples so can at least try some ones you wouldn't get. Price is on point for a tourist spot so a little higher than DQ but you are paying for the historical value. Fun spot to visit.
Homemade delicious ice cream that has creative flavors, vegan and keto friendly options.Staff is friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking lot.
I'll be craving this for a long time! It was SO good! Very flavorful and the texture was perfect! My family has been making homemade ice cream for years, so I know how hard it can be to nail the perfect texture and flavor. This place did a fantastic job! I'm mad at myself for not bringing any home. Definitely make a stop here!
