I have always loved this restaurant! A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. So I was very ecstatic to hear that one of my favorite Chineese restaurants served Gluten Free dishes. However, the last few times I have called to order take out, they have told me "they are not doing gluten free today". I am very disappointed because I have been a loyal customer for a long time. And I can only eat gluten free food now, this is not a lifestyle choice. We are a family of 5 and used to eat there frequently. We now have to take our business elsewhere.
We've had an enjoyable experience every time we've come here - friendly staff, delicious appetizers, soups & entrees with great portion sizes. The orange chicken is my favorite entree, the hot and sour soup is my favorite soup, and the pork pot stickers are my favorite appetizer (and even though those are my favorites, I've enjoyed everything I've had here). Highly recommend this place!
My wife and I arrived shortly after they opened for their evening hours. We ordered the Salt & Pepper Calamari to which we found seasoned perfectly and extremely delicious! I highly recommend this as an appetizer. We ordered the Shrimp and Pork Mandarin and the Beef Szechuan. If you don’t enjoy onions then stay away from the Szechuan. I however thought it was amazing. Staff was very friendly and I would definitely go back when I’m Omaha.
Tried this place for take-out lunch today. Place seemed clean. That's where the compliments end. Very average food (no spice - very bland). Small portions. Little chicken. Will not go back. Place needs to get a lot better.
The staff was horrible to me when I picked up a take out order, prices are through the roof. A family of 4 with some appetizers were over a hundred dollars. When I asked about the price he got snappy and said you looking at the wrong menu. Their prices have increased big time. Looks like I am finding a new chinese take out, I miss Five Spicy great people and good prices.

We tried the Crispy Honey Chicken and Mae Fun Noodles. Both were excellent! We ordered an extra side of rice and were glad we did. Clean, pleasant environment and friendly service. Would recommend!
Just like ‘Christmas Story’, we ate Asian cuisine on Christmas Eve. The food and service were outstanding. I love their hot and sour soup, and my shrimp with vegetables was well executed. I try to eat here every time I come to Omaha.
Love this place. The lunch entrees are excellent, absolutely delicious.Staff are always friendly. This is my go to Asian cuisine.
We were visiting from Oklahoma and looking for dinner. We ended up here and absolutely loved the entire experience. Ambiance was great, service was great and the food was delicious! I had the egg drop soup and the Triple Delight! Everything was cooked to perfection! We will definitely return the next time we’re in Omaha!
