Terrific venue! Great local music scene highlighted by plenty of room to sit while also having a large area available to get up close to the stage. Don't miss the upper-level seating, which is limited but worth arriving early for.
I have been to many of concerts in my life, but Slowdown has to be one of my favorite venues. I have seen 3 shows in total here but plan to see many more. The staff is very alert and accommodating. They have a good sized bar, nice bathrooms, and a balcony. The place is well kept. Slowdown provides an intimate setting to really connect and enjoy the performance. After going to shows here I'll never go to a big venue again. The tickets have also been very affordable. Great place!
Bartenders do not care about health or safety of paying customers. Female bartender was ridiculously rude to us for using the restroom like any other paying customer. Kicked us out for one of us being sick in the bathroom and not wanting to leave her by herself. She did not offer any help. Did not make sure she was okay. Didn’t offer water. Didn’t let her even sit down. Didn’t let her even wash her hands after using a dirty bathroom. There are much better ways to handle such situations like maybe actually caring about the guests, especially ones who spent over $100 there. We will NOT be going back. Such disrespect for absolutely no reason. Train the staff how to handle situations better. Not a safe environment.

Bought tickets to a concert at another venue. It got moved to the slowdown. No big deal.It was an all ages show that ended up being sold out.I bought my tickets 2 months in advance and when I got to the door they ended up turning me away because my ID had just expired.I was so embarrassed and so upset. It was my first concert ever (I'm 26) and it was all bands that I absolutely love. Very very disappointed
I can't believe I haven't been before, but I just experienced the Slowdown for the first time. Everyone working there was super friendly and helpful! Everything was impressively clean! I will definitely be back! Thanks for a great concert experience!!
What an amazing experience! I brought my 10-year-old daughter with me and the staff was BEYOND amazing! They checked on us between sets and even brought us ear plugs. I will be coming back time and time again! Thank you for an amazing experience, Slowdown! I’ve never been to a venue this amazing ❤️
Hands down one of my favorite music venues in the area. They have a wide variety of artists from lovelytheband to Chris Renzema, local artists, and coming soon a Taylor Swift dance party!
Best small music venue I have ever been to. Love the tiered house area so that if you aren’t up front you can still see very well. Nice balcony andSeating areas around the perimeter of the house area. Plenty of seating back by the bar. I thought the layout flows nicely.
