We are a big fan of this place; we always order the shrimp po’ boy and it is always fantastic. It comes with the most delicious remounted on top, which adds an incredible flavor profile to the crispy shrimp sandwhich. The sandwhich also comes with “baby cakes” which are like flat tater tots. They always come out piping hot and are delicious to dip in their soups. We also have had wonderful fish here when we’ve tried the blackened red fish, orange roughy and oysters. The gumbo here is some of the best I’ve had, and we’ve always enjoyed their specials. We are leaving Omaha, and during our 2 years here have probably dined here 30+ times. We have always had wonderful servers who have made us feel welcome from our first visit.My only recommendation is that they use better bread for their sandwhiches and po’ boys. We LOVE the crispy shrimp inside; as well as the delicious fish in the sandwhiches, and truly believe the sandwhich would be completely perfect with a high quality sandwhich bread.Overall, as we leave Omaha, this was one of the places I reccomend to everyone, tourists and locals. They have wonderful service, drinks, and foods of all kinds.
I had never had the pleasure of eating here but for my first time experience it was amazing. I had the seafood taco it was soooo delicious. We had a party of 6. Everyone enjoyed their meals. It’s a small place so if you want a big party you may have to sit at different tables. The only thing that was disappointing is that they they ran out of burgers which 2 in my party wanted but they did order the fish baskets which they were highly satisfied. Great service, food was hot, no long wait times. 4 1/2 out of 5 stars only because they ran out of burgers.
Amazing and I'm a Born and raised on the east coast Floridian! We stopped in, happened to be happy hour, had one of the best margaritas I've had in a long time! Everything was fresh and could be tasted! Clam chowder ...amazing! Ahi tuna... amazing! Oysters... amazing in every way prepared! We loved it so much we stopped on our way back home for Togo orders! And yes order the pie! Will be stopping in everytime we're in Omaha to get that back at home vibes!

Loved the food!! The handicapped parking was a bit of a joke. In the back of the restaurant with only gravel.The food was excellent!!! As you can see from the photos...we kind of forgot to take photos until we were almost done! Oh...in one of the Oysters Rockefeller...we found a pearl!!

Food and service was fantastic! We had the crab legs, shrimp risotto, fish and chips, and the tour of oysters for an appetizer. Everything was excellent, agreed-upon by all three of us! Will be back, I definitely recommend this place!
I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was tasty. I had lobster bisque which was a good consistency however lacked the meat. The catfish fingers were right on point! Fried just right and seasoned well.
Excellent seafood place. Got the 2 pounds of Snow crab legs... got stuffed. Love crab legs.. did oysters for starters and good. Never had..
There is a lot to love about this place. It has that Mississippi/Louisiana hole in the wall seafood place feel, accentuated by brown paper on the table and a roll of paper towels on the table. I had the Calamari and Thai Chili appetizer along with the Jambalaya. Both dishes were delicious. I had the Green's IPA (Gluten Free) and my wife had the Margarita. The Margarita was too sweet and not as Lime forward as my wife prefers but it was easily enough fixed with an extra shot of tequila and some lime. My only critique (very minor) is that our service was slow due to low staffing and our drinks sat on the bar for a few minutes before being served. It wouldn't keep be from recommending Shucks and we'll be back again. It's a great little restaurant.
