Their honey cornbread was so good but i wouldn't recommend their seafood boil at all. They put buttery noodles at the bottom of the boil which is plain and the seafood is actually seasoned only but the butter isnt seasoned just plain butter which ismt good at all. Maybe the other. Maybe i should try something else
Delish! 10/10 service was amazing, food was so good!!
The dining room has seating that is well spaced from others. There is what looks like two sections, one that is elevated a bit and the other that is more on the ground floor. The free mini corn bread starter they serve up was 5 stars.Fried Shrimp 5 starsIt was $10 for 10 pieces. I'm not sure how the boiled ones taste, but the fried ones were excellent. I'm also not a huge fan of fried food so it has to be pretty good if I'm going to eat my share of it, and it was. Are you okay? The seafood gumbo 4 starsThe okra flavor-wise was a four star for me, but value-wise it would be a five-star since it was only $3.Pineapple bliss 5 starsCrab boil was 32 but I added lobster tail for 14 which brought the price to 46.I like the fact that it was two pieces of corn and two pieces of egg because some places it was just one. Also, I liked that they had pasta at the bottom of the dish even if I didn't really eat it. Just these little things make it feel a little bit more worthwhile when the cost is higher.Comparatively to other seafood boil places, this place does rate high on my list. Service was excellent, food was very tasty, I didn't feel like they overcooked anything which can be a common issue, or if pieces were oversalted. If anything. They under salted which at first I thought was a minor problem than realized it's much better this way. You can always add, I feel it's harder to remove. One of the criticisms would be that the Cajun seasoning isn't very evenly dispersed. That's pretty common though at seafood boil restaurants. Since they can be lighthe-handed in my be nice if they had a shake her on the side to add a bit more seasoning if you needed it.I found out none of the desserts were made in house, but the sweet potato pie slice we had was very good. 4.5 stars. It is located inside of a strip mall, so it has a medium sized parking lot that is shared with other businesses.
Food good once we got it (after 1 hr 40 minutes). Waited 25 minutes to have server come to table for water. Black Box wine (so bad) sitting out for all to see. Had to chase down staff the entire time we were there. No TP or paper towels ladies room. Told staff about it twice. In short won’t be back. Yes should have left! Wanted to give them a chance.
Everything was fantastic from the food to the service
I had the fried shrimp appetizer and their house sauce. Great breading and the sauce had a little kick. It was very goodFor my main i got the boil and that was seasoned well and enhanced the food. My only complaint is I asked for spicy but that was still pretty mild. I absolutely recommend it! I also got a side of gumbo that was awesomeAlso their little corn bread bites are fantastic. They should offer them as an appetizerThe restaurant was great and I think everyone was family which always makes me feel good about a place.Well thanks for coming to my ted talk. I’m sure you’re going to be impressed by them
I waited awhile to be served, food temperature wasn’t the warmest. But the waitress was super nice & the flavors of the boil were yummy.
My girlfriend and I have been wanting to try here for a minute now! We stopped in and barely missed the lunch menu but we got a crispy chicken sandwich, extra crispy with a side of Mac n cheese & the $35 snow crab meal with a side of corn and a side of Mac n cheese with Lobster meat added in! We waited about 15 minutes for the food which isn’t bad at all! The food was a good 8/10, we wished they had lettuce and tomato for the sandwich as well as a sauce to put on it and the crab legs, kinda the same thing. Wish there was a Cajun sauce perhaps rather than Cajun seasoning sprinkled on. Over all still VERY GOOD! The service was hands down some of the best service we’ve had. Every waitress in there was attentive and we even talked to the chef herself whom switched out the sandwich for us with some boiled shrimp. The boiled shrimp was a winner for sure. Cooked perfect and seasoned even better!!! Our waitress, Sami, was training and was delightful. Definitely will come back in!
Great food! There were reviews making it sound not so great and we almost didn't come here. So glad we did, and we did not agree with the other reviews at all.My husband and I both got the seafood broil. I had medium spice, Cajun dipping. My husband got the garlic dipping. There was a healthy portion of crab legs which had so much meat on them. The broil had at leat 8-10 pieces of shrimp. The dipping sauce smothered on both our meals was fantastic. We honestly weren't able to finish all of our meals with so much sausage, potatoes, boiled egg (which I was surprised how well that went with the broil!), cob corn, shrimp and legs. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back when we are in town!
Really good. The sausage and shrimp boil was hearty and tremendous. Same with the order of snow crab, fries and mac and cheese with lobster for my wife. Cup of gumbo for an appetizer was great, best gumbo I’ve had. First time here and we will be regulars moving forward.
