I have gone to Salween at 3-4 times month since November. I get the same thing every time chicken Thai rice no tomatoes spice level 5. Usually I go to the Irvington location but found this location is closer to home for me. Went here tonight. I called in my order then called back to add to the order. When I got there to pick it up, the person over the phone had canceled everything I originally order... & stated I would have to wait 30 minutes after already waiting 40 minutes. Mind you I love this food, only to get home and discover the food tasted horrible. Nothing like what I'm used to on Irvington. Not saying don't go to Salween, just don't go to this location! Definitely disappointed
SO good. I've had thai food all over the world, and this place is still one of my favorite places! The boat noodles are amazing, the tom kha gai is amazing!
It is absolutely impossible to get this location on the phone. I am pretty sure their workers take it off the hook.
Excellent food, excellent service, great place!! My girlfriend and I shared a soup and pad Thai and it was the perfect amount, we ate everything and it was amazing!
A popular local Thai restaurant with 4 locations around the Omaha metro. I've heard good things about it for years and finally stopped in to try it.Spring Rolls (aka Summer Rolls) were good. They were, perhaps, a tad on the small side but tasty. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and it too was very tasty. It's a decent portion. I've been served much larger portions at this price point, but this was plenty to eat. My wife liked her Red Curry. They ran out of rice which I found a little annoying, but mostly hilarious. An Asian restaurant running out of rice is like a burger joint running out of French fries. They substituted noodles in my wife's curry and she was happy, so "no harm no foul." Rice is just the "cheap carb filler" used at Asian restaurants (the equivalent of pasta, fries, mashed potatoes, and the like) to make the meal more filling and so I tend to not eat much of it anywayIt's a nice place inside. It was minimally staffed, so service was friendly but not especially attentive as a result.
Best general tso I've had in a while.
This was the worst food I had in Omaha in a long time. Ordered a meal that was supposed to be on a plate with wide noodles and chicken, they served it as a soup - something new. But what made it worse is the fact the they used corn starch and didn't make sure it was properly stared into the soup. Found a large clump (table spoon size) in there, thought it was chicken. Just terrible. If I could, I'd give them negative stars.
I really like Thai food and the Salween franchises. I ordered online and the food was ready in about 30mins (Saturday night). I upped my spice level to a 5 this time and it might’ve been a mistake. Ended up a little too spicy to be enjoyable and it ended up overpowering any taste of the Pad Thai that I ordered.
They have sticky rice which is great since most of the Thai places have stopped serving it. Didn't care for my dish but everyone at my table enjoyed theirs. Mine was not what I expected compared to what I have had at all the other Thai places. They do not have alcohol.
Blah blah...Will definitely order again!Ordered again and was charged. Food NEVER SHOWED UP.Had to contact grubhub for refund as these people wouldn't answer their phone.
