Pretty disappointed. Ordered red curry with chicken. Chicken was boiled tough and curry tasted exactly like. "A Taste Of Thai" brand from the grocery store, and was very weak and watery. I don't think the rice was jasmine it honestly seemed like boxed instant white rice. Drunken noodle was just ok, beef was also really tough and it wasn't really saucy. They didn't include the side of fish sauce or fresh Thai Chili's that I requested, either. Got a Thai sampler plate, was just ok. Not the best job frying the app plate. Honestly sad it cost 40$ to be that disappointed. Not authentic seemed to be faking it.
Salween is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town. And since they have 3 locations, clearly I am not alone in my thoughts. Used DoorDash to get delivery today. Salween is always spot on with your 0-10 spice level selection. Love the Pad Thai, and they may be the only place in town to get the yummy rice ball suasages.
Chicken pad Thai was warm and delicious. Chicken satay was good with the peanut sauce, the rice sausage ball was good, had a weird texture but not bad. The fresh mango with sticky rice and coconut milk was a great end to the meal. There was enough to share my dinner with left overs for tomorrow.
This location always does great on Spica and amount of food. I have never had a problem with my food. Always fresh and warm. Always correct. Pad see yew. And Thai noodle soup are my favorites
I picked up for DoorDash here &&& yeah, I would never eat here. Everything was filthy, the floors, the counters, the waiting chairs, the door. I also waited for too long before someone finally came to ask me which order I had.. and then of course they were still making it when I got there. I can’t add my video I took but beat believe it was nasty.
The waitresses are pretty special but the foods good so I keep going back. Order 10 spicy it's not that hot
I go there pretty often I didn’t not like Doris taking order first she let 9 people go she was more paying attention my husband and trying to be funny they put the sauce in my noddle and they forgot my rice !! And there no silverware nor napkins on the bag I’m already home to late to drive 15 minutes back
Please check ur orders before you buy. I am a regular at the Ames location who had gotten tired of paying for half done food. Please check ur orders! Especially GrubHub or online orders. I order by phone and pick up because I work alot and I love Thai food. But after my first time here... There is always something wrong. They done give you the rice that comes with your order.. or forget the sauce. Or Something... That makes you have to make an extra trip to get your order correct. I went through this at the Ames location, but because I like the food I went to the radial hwy location. The portions were larger.. but prices differ and things that come with rice on Ames.. don't come with rice on radial hwy/Saddlecreek location. When I asked why... ?? They couldn't give an explanation but still charge extra. There is no uniform to the way they run their business. The food is good. But make sure when u order the creamy soup that comes with ?. u stand there and count the shrimp the first time.. I got exactly ONE shrimp in my Tom Yum creamy soup . So I brought it back.. and they gave me 4. Def NOT worth it for $11.00 , 2 trips and a return.
Saleen Thai is the best I've had so far in Omaha. I've been to Bangkok, Thailand and had pad Thai there and they are very similar in taste. You won't be disappointed.
