From the beginning to the end of our dining experience was Grade A+ service. The down home fresh food was Amazing and the music was a bonus! If you are looking for phenomenal food and great music, with excellent service to boot, then Rib Shack Smoke House is the place for you! Can't wait to dine here again! Delicious food. Our group got the sampler platter with Mac and cheese and beans plus some corn bread, potato salad, and peach cobbler. It all was some of the best I’ve ever had. Plus Malcolm and Jackie were super friendly and provided top notch customer service. 10 / 10 recommend to everyone!
The lunch special was plenty of food for the money. The mac and cheese for the side was delicious. The service was very friendly. It took a few minutes to get my to-go ordered prepared, but that just means they were preparing it right then. I will definitely be back.
Thought I'd give this new restaurant a try and glad I did! Courteous and helpful staff with smiles and amazing musictoo! Felt like I was welcome, and the food was amazing! Fire pork and beef and down home sides that took me back home to the south!! If your in the mood for bbq there isn't any better in Omaha! Portions was fat and meat was mouthwatering! Go try this one for yourself and you'll see?
Today I made my first trip to the Rib Shack. It was everything I heard it was and then some. I ordered it to go which is a very seldom occurrence for us but since this treasure of a restaurant is close to home it worked out well. The rib tips were extremely meaty and sauced just right. What I wasn't expecting was the sheer genius of the sides. You get 2 with each meal so I ordered 4 different ones and wow...the Cole slaw, summer chili baked beans and Mac and cheese were awesome. Also got the seasoned fries and they were very good as well but when you enjoy a meal and spend several minutes after eating to try to figure out what made everything so good you know they nailed it. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. I will be going back to this gem of a restaurant very soon!
Excellent! We’ll be back! We devoured a full rack of takeout ribs, beans and slaw. Everything was totally tasty!
The Rib Shack was a great experience for me, two weeks in a row I have enjoyed the Jumbo Shrimp dinner w/ fries and Mac N Cheese. I also got to sample the Barbecue and it was falling off the bone. The staff is very hospitable and check on you to make sure your visit is right. The soft Blues playing in the background makes the experience more homely. I can't wait to go back this Friday. I have had several friends tell me that rib shack was some great barbecue. Had to see for myself and I was definitely not disappointed. Some of the best ribs I’ve ever bought in Omaha or the surrounding area. The brisket and baked beans were excellent as well. To top it all off the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with choosing our order and giving their opinions on menu items. This will become one of our regular food stops. I will recommend to all of my friends and I can’t wait to eat it again!

The customer service was great; I felt welcome and comfortable vibes all around. The staff made sure to keep everything clean and were very polite and happy to help. So it makes me sad to say the food wasn't good. Coleslaw and potato salad weren't good, mac wasn't flavorful, fries came from a bag, the meat was dry. Got a real bad stomachache after too. Wonderful people who have been through a lot, and I'd love to support them, but there needs to be a step up in the food quality for me to come back
