When did piercings in your face and rainbow hair become acceptable in customer facing service industries?Food is …meh… The fact that the hiring manager, and therefore the company seems to have such low hiring standards makes me worry about what other bad decisions go on behind the scenes. Listen to the other reviews, they missed the mark with this new location. Moving the grill to the back was a terrible idea, not sure who thought of that. We have been here twice, each time our order was either wrong or cold, plus the portion sizes are smaller. We have attributed both these issue to the grill being moved to the back. Hopefully they don’t remodel the other locations. You know what they say, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
I’ve come here many a time but recently the food has been an awful experience. The past 3 times I’ve ordered from this location they do not follow instructions for constructing a rice bowl. What prompted me to write this review was that I went through the drive thru and everything on my order screen was correct and to be fair they got most of it done correctly. The caveat was that they didn’t season the steak when I said extra seasoning (it was bland and tasteless) and extra rice (little to no rice in the bowl) it was honestly the worst rice bowl I’ve had at pepperjax and it leaves me not wanting to come back to this location though it’s the closest to me.
3 times now I have come through at night and ordered the extra spicy option xtra fireball in spicy jalapeno option. 3 times now I get home to a plain as day burrito with no spice to it and I know what the spice is. Please get employees who can read and understand instructions. Thank you.

This saddens me greatly to be putting a 1 star here because truthfully I’d give it a zero if it were possible. This location used to be so amazing. It had wonderful staff and the food was always amazing. Ever since they moved locations and added a drive thru this location has been nothing but mediocre and sad. The food is NEVER hot. The drive thru takes FOREVER. All around worse business move they have ever made.
I've always liked PepperJax Grill, so I thought I'd give this new location a try. I ordered the rice bowl with an extra scoop of rice. What I received was the smallest portion of food I've ever received at a PepperJax restaurant. With an 18% tip, my bill was over $12. For that price, the bowl should be filled with food. It's rice, beans, meat, and some ranch sauce. I will not be going there again. For that price, you should not leave hungry, and I'm a smaller guy. Good food but high prices and very small portions.
We ordered through the drive through and we waited at the window for our food so long that an employee opened the window to ask us if they could help us with something. We replied 2 rice bowls we ordered. A few minutes later they brought it out. When we got home we realized the order was wrong, my husband was missing some of the food he asked for.
I ate there on 3/8/22 around 5:30pm.The food was good, restaurant was clean, and food was brought to us in a timely fashion. My only complaint is that the dining area temperature was ice cold. Other customers said the same thing. Please turn the heat up!
I just got a chicken philly. This was probably the worst sandwich i had. The bread was very dry, about 2 inches of each of the sandwich wasn't cut open and no toppings in those ends. Also I know they were busy, but the drive thru took a good 15 min and only 2 cars were ahead of me. Not sure if the locations is in need of employees or what...
