We have been going to this location for a long time, and it is always great. Sometimes the lines are a bit long, but always worth the wait.
We ate in the Old Market tonight. And the staff working as excellent!!! And the food wad vet good to. I didn't get the name of the beautiful and kind lady working but she made us feel very welcome. As did everyone. I WILL go back and hope she is there. (If you see this, I was the lady in the electric scooter. ❤)
They provide outstanding customer service!!! They employ some of the most engaging people I've ever encountered. I like how polite and respectful they are, especially when it comes to ensuring that you receive your food on time and in good quality.

Upon entering, floor was so greasy that it was like an ice rink. Asked for extra mayo and they gave a bunch, however, no cheese on the cheese fries and no jalapenos on my Philly steak. It was not a large or difficult order. I called back and she said there's nothing she can do because it was ordered through door dash for pickup. Now I'm stuck eating soggy dry fries since I'm at the Embassy Suites and have no ketchup. I don't feel like trying to hunt ketchup down and eating cold fries. I expected to have cheese on them, as ordered. Very disappointed. The bread is also chewy even though it was "toasted". Embassy is only a 5 min walk from Pepper Jax.
It was a great meal, as usual. The service was quick and friendly, and the place was kept up neatly.
This place is arguably better than all the other surrounding restaurants in Old Market. These guys friggin kill it here and they’re good is delicious??

We ordered two rice blows. One chicken, one steak. Now they even have guacamole to top it off with. Plus, we ordered a large French fry. So yummy! And the customer service was great!
The food and service here are always phenomenal. But if you're lucky enough to have Terrell make your food, even better. He's quick, he's polite, and damn good at his job.
