Not my first time at Over Easy and it won't be my last. Went on a Friday morning at 10am, and it was not too crowded.Of course we had to order the homemade pop tarts. Split a wild Berry and a strawberry one. They were, as always, fantastic! I ordered the breakfast sandwich which is LOADED. Buttery toasted sourdough, omlete style egg, bacon, jalapeño jam (a touch sweet), hashbrows and a cream cheese with some shredded cheese thrown in. If you don't like cheese or are lactose intolerant, the sandwich doesn't need it to still be good.Food and service were fantastic. Never been disappointed here!
Great unique breakfast nook! Fantastic coffee, food choices change on special occasions! They are very accommodating for gluten-free options! Staff is nice, hosts need to be better at estimating seat times(lost customers by saying extreme wait time)highly recommend to make this your new place to try and repeat every occasion!
Ordered the chicken and waffles, the honey glaze was amazing! The waffles were the best consistency of crispy and fluffy. The chicken was tender! Overall great meal to start my day!
Absolutely amazing experience! The staff was very kind and super efficient. All of the food was perfect! I had the corned beef and hash and it was delicious! Best I've had in years! My husband enjoyed his quiche and loved their cheesy hash balls. And last but not least my daughter's strawberry "cinnamon" roll was sooo good that I ask for one to go! Overall best breakfast place in Omaha!
Absolutely amazing food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere! A new favorite brunch spot for sure!
I have gone through drive thru many times. At 845 am 3/31/22 not only did the guy taking our order refused half The menu, he also refused to put the sorbet in a cup and let me buy a bottle of champagne to take home right down the street like I have MULTIPLE other times especially during the pandemic. I go to a gas station and can take alcohol home but you refuse to give it even when it's on the menu for to go. Then as I said nevermind on ordering, the guy laughed and said great! As if he was happy to loose a customer. Very disappointed in the customer service here. Communication needs to be better if you want to be a good restaurant unfortunately. And they made us wait 15 minutes before taking our order. All in all waste of time, space, service.Usually love the breakfast food but he denied half the menu too like he didn't want to cook it. Refused bacon, potatoes, refused to be polite. Disappointed this time around they really let me down especially since I work from home sometimes and take my breakfast less than a block away
Got sat down quickly and drinks were brought out right away which was nice however that was really the only nice part of dining there, our server took our order and also informed us she would wait a couple minutes before putting the order in which was fine however and I’m not exaggerating 30 minutes later they finally got our order put in we know it took this long because they had to ask what exactly our order was it also was annoying to see everyone else showing up after us was getting their food brought out so I’m not really sure what was happening there. Bottom line is the food is okay and the service for us was bad. Do not plan on ever going back.
I loved this place. Until today... this is 'biscuits and gravy'. And at the window I was asked with a blank ticket whether I wanted to 'tip'. No, a white sauce (not gravy) and No I am not 'tipping' when prompted. Sorry Over Easy. I had your owners in my class in the day, but.. No!
O.M.G. ! For the season they have pumpkin cinnamon rolls! With brown butter icing. Since moving to Omaha less than a year ago, we've been enticed with cinnamon rolls everywhere we go. By Far these are the BEST! Thier Caramel Coffee is fantastic too! Even tho short staff they are worth the wait! Staff is courteous, polite and still friendly with the constant wait...again well worth it. Breakfast was great also!Open 7-2pm (7 days a week). We will definitely be back. A place you can take your kids or grandma!
They got me in by having their Harry Potter themed menu and store during October. I will be returning because of the food! Everything was so delicious, fresh, and had great flavor!
