My first time here. The service and food were great. The outdoor patio looks awesome but it wasn't open when I visited. Great looking menu with yummy sounding dishes. I have a feeling they are all very good. I'll be back and soon!

This is our Go To place for great food before we head to an event. The last time we went for dinner was 4/2/2022 before we went to the Symphony. We had reservations and do suggest this before hand as we saw at least 4 couples and parties that had to leave as no room at a great restaurant. We had a few of our favorites Portobello Ravioli with Cream Sauce along with Lasagna & Meatballs with bruschetta . Each meal that we chose has two dinner salads that came first and part of the meal. Others that were eating there asked what we were having as it smelled delicious and of course it was delicious. For desert we split the Italian Lemon Cake. Perfect flavor and so moist. A definite must if you want to finish the dinner off!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nicola's! All the dishes were excellent, but the lasagna really stood out! The Sauce was excellent and everything sure tasted like it was made from scratch. Will surely visit again.

The Bianca Pizza was to die for!!! I’m 33 years old and it is the best pizza I have ever had! I will definitely be a regular customer! ?

I can't believe we have never been here. This was thee best meal I have had in a long time .Great staff . They were on there game for sure.It was a pleasure eating here.

This is a fantastic gem of an Italian restaurant. Found it on Maps and decided to give it a go. Glad we did! The food is delicious and the service is great. I had the lemon cream salmon. Terrific. John let us try some hand rolled meatballs. Wow! Spaghetti and meatballs for me next trip! Highly recommended.

Hear me. A “must try” spot if you are anywhere in the Omaha area….and even if you’re not! We could not wait for dinner the next day to visit again and try another item on the menu while we were still in town. The food is seasoned to perfection! The service was 5 star. The owner John by far is thee best—he was so kind to take us back to our hotel there in the Old Market area as our shuttle was running behind schedule. Our waitress Alishia was very attentive—her menu recommendations were spot on. I hope to experience their patio on our next visit when the weather is warmer. It bears repeating: A “must try” spot.⭐️Lemon Cream al Salmon Fettuccine⭐️Italian Vegetarian Salad-Shrimp

I've been coming here regularly for over a decade. Nicola's is a rare place that provides consistently excellent dishes, friendly service and a unique atmosphere. The lobster ravioli keeps me coming back but there are so many great dishes. Even the lowly spaghetti and meatballs rises to a fine art here. What I find especially rare is the combination of 5 star food in a completely casual atmosphere. It is someplace you can go and really feel at home without the stuffiness of some places. The outdoor dining area is unique and enjoyable as well, though the traffic can get a bit noisy.Overall Nicola's is one of those unique treats that puts a little pep in my step when I know I'm headed there :)

Authetic, delicious, soulwarming and award winning Italian fare. You'll be hard pressed to find a more intimate venue with such a robust menu of genuine classics. The staff is composed of some the best restaraunt professionals in Omaha (this is the kind of place where the server generally does not need to take notes bc they know their menu). We had a 5 person table recently and our server memorized our entire order; this has happened every time I've been there. Get the meatballs, get the Lasagna, get the Aglio y Olio, get the Carbonara, get it all and I recommend taking their insightful recommendations. I highly recommend Nicolas Italian Wine & Fare.

This adorable little hole-in-the-wall is a must-visit restaurant in Omaha. The food is amazing; the pasta is as rich and flavorful as what I ate in Rome. The portions are perfectly sized so that you are satisfied but still have room for one of their delicious desserts. (We had the lemon cake. Highly recommend.) Because the restaurant is so small, we couldn’t get a table until 8:30, but it was so worth the wait.
