Very good food! Flavorful and absolutely delicious. Staff is great as well and make sure you are satisfied.
The best grits and shrimp I ever ate. We also split the gumbo for an app. my husband had jambalaya plus we had bread pudding
Great food..I had boudin balls, etouffee, house salad & bread pudding. My brother had the jambalaya. All was delicious. we arrived @ 6:30. the place was busy...30 min wait. Great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, but did make some errors on our order.
Really nice experience dining at Mouth of the South - the service was excellent and the food was really delicious. Definitely the place to go when you’re in Omaha and are craving some southern creole type dishes.
It was my husband and I 10th anniversary and we went to Omaha for something different. We looked up restaurants and noticed this one. Us being from Tennessee the name of the place catch our eye. It was amazing and I fell in love. Husband thought it was amazing as well. Five Star ⭐✨. Staff was friendly and nice, as well as patient with us.
DELICIOUS!!! Shrimp and grits were very tasty and the smoked pulled pork and brisket sandwich was soooooo juicy and perfect! Literally can’t wait to come back. Incredible service too!!!

We are at the downtown location yesterday & it was great. Food is consistent in both locations. I particularly like the size & ambience of the space. Sheena was an amazing server & was very attentive.
Good place for a casual bite. I loved the decor. The food was yummy with large portions.
Great friendly staff. Best gizzard I've ever had and served with pepper jelly made them superb. Chicken pasta was wonderful enough for two people.
