Upon entering the dim atmosphere drew me in. The entire place is very well decorated and set a vibe. I really liked that there is a patio and indoor seating. Not to mention they have comfortable couches. The bartender and the server were both very kind and well educated on the menu. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. The random drink vending machine is a very clever idea to make people step out of their comfort zone and try new drinks.
Mercury is a good place to go to for people who can drink. They have a bar where one can sit and drink or one could order to on the table where you are sitting with other people. While for other people it is a good place to go to to eat. The food menu is pretty limited and does not contain a lot of vegetarian options for people who do not eat meat. But the limited menu that they have is good. The portion size and the price is not good that is it is expensive.
We’ll, this was a fun experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the lounge feel and the entertaining way to read the drink menus. They are CDs with labels from real bands and the names of their albums but the list of songs are replaced with the ingredients of the drink. Super creative idea. I had Black Flag “Damaged” the others in the group had Joy Division “Unknown Pleasures”, Meat Loaf “Bat Out of Hell” and The Notorious BIG “Ready to Die” we did not eat anything as we had just come from dinner but they do have a food menu. I highly recommend this lounge.
A very unique and cool place for drinks. Their drink menu is listed on cds in a cute retro CD case. The servers/bartenders were very friendly and helpful. They were busy, because it was a Saturday night downtown, but we were able to get a table right away.
My favorite place for craft cocktails in Omaha. The bourbon selection is also very nice.Bar none the most innovative cocktail menu in Omaha and quite honestly about aby city I have visited. They make sure to have options for many type of base spirits. Bourbon, gon, vodka etc are all well represented on the menu.The presentation of the menu is also unique. It might be on the back of a cereal box or currenty in a sleeve of cds.If you aren't going here you are not living right in Omaha. If youbare downtown stop in for a few drinks...their food menu is very good as well.
What a find on our road trip from NH to CO! My daughter is vegetarian so we have to def research places before we go. The Vegan Lobster Roll had us intrigued & didn’t disappoint. The drink menu was a CD case w/ drinks printed on the CDs. We got the Jagged Little Pill & Ready to Die, both were perfect. The carrot ravioli with homemade pesto (best I’ve ever had) was heavenly & the Brussel sprouts were devoured in minutes. Highly recommend this!!
This is an excellent restaurant!! Such unique and delicious in house creations! They have a stellar drink menu and the menu presentation is super fun! They have the drinks on the cd face named after bands. The first visit I have The Notorious Big, very crisp sweet and refreshing, and the next night I had the System of a Down, warm and smooth. Both were excellent and perfectly balanced for a delicious cocktail. The carrot ravioli was exquisite and presented beautifully. The pesto sauce that came with it was superb! The next night I had their cheeseburger. It was so tasty and melt in your mouth delicious I don't think I can order a cheeseburger anywhere else. Do not pass this place up for excellent unique meal and cocktail! That atmosphere is very laid back and staff friendly. This is now going to be a frequent spot for downtown dining. Don't pass this place up!
Mercury is a wonderful bar with late night food (until last call!) that is *amazing.* I had the Mediterranean sandwich (vegetarian fare) and it was worth the $12 I spent on it -- lots of flavor, delightful bread, and very filling. The atmosphere is incredible, with cozy seating coves and a retro-hippie-90s design aesthetic. Will definitely be back for another date night to try some of their drinks!
I was thought by the best, old school bartenders! This old fashioned was the best that I have ever had! My hat is off to you guys! I love scotch but this has taken the lead! If you like new experiences, this place is a must! You can thank me later!?
First time here, and Andrew M. was our server. Incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks, helped us each pick a perfect drink. And that Cubano was to die for. So delicious! We will be back.
