Been going downhill for a long time. Used to be good but now not so much. Went there for a late lunch. No cheese or tomatoes for the salad. Said they were out. Out of dressings. So had a salad I was not happy with but no problem charging full price. Then find out my two topping pizza no longer allows cheese as a topping, so got charged $1.20 for cheese. Had them take it off. Staff acts like they don't care. What a shame this place went so downhill.
I absolutely love their Philly steak and cheese even though it's a little over priced. I would of given them five stars but my last visit just ruined the entire place for me.. the staff used Mt card for more than I had told them was ok and never offered to fix it, the same staff was more than rude when I mentioned he had charged the card more than I had asked, then I didn't receive all my order, and it was over a ll a terrible experience.Update: I did call when I got home and after I had realized it was missing the items...first time on hold over 10mins so hung up. Second time I called spoke with magner on duty who told me the kid behind the counter has issues with being rude to customers regularly and apologized and was polite and offered to replace food and gave me a credit for our food to use in the future. As for my card...yes I swiped it but told him I was paying cash for a portion of it I handed him a twenty and then he told me to swipe card and I did and I thought he would give me change back from the twenty when drawer opened bit nothing so I then asked what he charged my card and asked why he had not run my card for what I had told him he said oh my bad I can't do anything about it. Now. Have a nice day and laughed in my face.
The food is always great but they told me to come pick up in 25 minutes and it was 58 from the time of order before I left wit our food and didn't even have the entire order so I had to go back. They gave me a refund for the two items and still gave me the items as well. I just would have liked a more realistic time frame of what they needed. They were also taking orders over the phone and telling those customers 20 minutes as well.
Had a birthday party and had a great time there.
This was the worst. We ordered our food ahead of time and waited the duration they told us on the phone, just to get there to wait another 30 minutes. We got it to go and not only did we wait the extra time , but when we got home half of the order was missing. We spent 50$ for a waste of time and half of our order missing just to have to return back to the restaurant for a refund on the food they shorted us on. Worst experience yet. We will never return again.
Got the chicken parm.... starting with the good; it came out hot, good portion size and came with garlic bread which was pretty good. The red sauce wasn't especially good but there wasn't enough of it. Nor bad but not great overall. The restaurant seems a little outdated but clean which what I cared about. Will probably go back to try a Philly cheese steak or pizza which I think is there specialty
This place isn't good at all. Im from out of town and was looking for good local pizza and I didn't get that. Dominos is better for half the price. Two stars because my order was ready at the time it was promised and the kid at the counter was very nice.
Ordered French dip the roast beef was very tough and dried out. Had a old taste to it.Another person ordered same thing and had the same issues. The fries were very delish and they got my no salt order right.The staff were very good. The other problem is the very small parking lot which gets very crowed and makes getting out a problem.
Normally love Lanskys. Food is great. However, service tonight was terrible at the Gretna location. Long story short I was given the wrong order. I drove home called them when we realized is was wrong .. drove back .. they asked for the wrong delivered food back …said sorry and handed me my food which was now sitting under a heat lamp for 45 minutes … she began to walk away from me and I asked “is that it”… and she says “yep, that’s it” and kept walking. They offered me nothing in return and expressed no remorse for the mistake. I spent 40 minutes driving back and forth for heat lamp quality food and was offered nothing.
The quality of food was terrible. The spaghetti noodles were definitely not done. The beer cheese sauce tasted nothing like beer cheese sauce Not sure how a restaurant just opens and alot of salad bar containers were mostly empty or empty. Definitely not worth the price.
