Waitress was very nice and the food was very good!

4 Sushi Rolls, 2 Drinks (1 was a mimosa on special for $3.00) 1 Kids Pizza (no sides included) and Milk and total was over $100. Ouch. Food was just okay, but we miss the Happy Hour on Sundays and all the options they used to have. It used to be one of our go to spots, but there are too many restaurants these days with fantastic food for a better value. Went to a competitor a few weeks ago and it was only $70, better menu and more food. Don’t get me wrong, going out to eat is pricey and we are more than okay spending the money- if the value is there. On the positive side, our server was nice, so that helped!

My first time here. The food was amazing and our server was very helpful with helping me decide on what to order. I'll definitely be back.

We had some serious issues with our experience and server at lunch today. Once I spoke with Shannon the general manager she went above and beyond to make sure that we we left still loving the Kona restaurant. Food was good as always. Thank you Shannon for being a great manager.

It was Friday evening, I'd say around 7ish so walking in the hostess let me know that it would be about a 25 minute wait which was understandable. Surprisingly enough the wait time was actually shorter. Once we were seated our waitress was amazing. She was super friendly and made sure we understood the menu and even made some suggestions to make our dining experience better. We started with the margarita flight which came recommended from our waitress and it was good. A tad bit on the sweeter side however, they definitely packed a punch for how small they were. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare with a side of mashed potatoes and I even had the surf and turf upcharge to add a shrimp and lobster roll on the side. My dish alone was about $40. When my steak arrived it came with some green beans that were undercooked & bland. Thinking my potatoes were probably still being whipped up I decided to try my steak. As I was cutting into the steak, it felt like I was trying to cut into a leather shoe. For whatever reason my steak was super tough and I don't see how you manage to do so with a ribeye cut. To no surprise when I checked the middle it was cooked about medium well. To add insult to injury the steak was as bland as the color beige. I just don't understand how you miss all three categories on a $32 ribeye steak. The shrimp and lobster roll was actually not bad. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it tasted like straight dog food. You know when you're opening your dogs' food and you smell it and your mouth can taste it? Yeah that's what that pad Thai tasted like. Between the tough, bland steak and dog food pad Thai with shrimp the size of dimes I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I'm actually upset thinking about how you have the audacity to serve this food and charge such high prices when you can't even properly season and cook a steak or make a simple pad Thai. The bill came out to $95.01 & I about made the waitress cry when I told her how awful the food was. The hostess and waitress were the only reason I gave this restaurant a 1 star. I also never got my mashed potatoes.

Did not have a very good experience at the beginning. Had a reservation that they weren’t ready for & then was sat at a dirty table. Our waiter CJ changed all of that. He took very good care of us & it was shown to him through the tip. If you go to Kona ask for CJ as your waiter!

Burger was burnt on one side and the sauce they put on is revolting. Not sure if the kitchen is aware, but covering the burnt part with cheese doesn't make it go away. Not to mention it actually being raw halfway through so that's just great ? getting people sick

I often order the Kona lunch special and have recommended it to several coworkers, all of which have been impressed and thoroughly satisfied with the taste, quality and customer service they’ve received. Thank you for always being prompt and courteous and for making my to-go order as requested with “x-tra love.”

We visited on a Thursday night. Table service was slow and the bar was extremely slow. It took us 20 minutes to get our first order of drinks. The food arrived first. The waiter did comp the drinks, but set a bad start for dinner. The margarita flight was good. The steak was good, as well as sushi, but the various potatoes were plain.

Absolutely delicious! If you go, you need the avocado egg rolls for sure! I went for Thanksgiving and have no regrets. By all means ask for Maddy to be your server!
