Jonesy's Taco House has been on my list to try for awhile now. I recently moved into the neighborhood so gave it a go. The staff was friendly and prompt but our waitress was dressed in workout wear. I don't usually notice waiter apparel but this outfit seemed out of place for waiting tables. The food was average, not great, not bad. The restaurant decor was unremarkable. I sampled the beef enchilada plate which came with rice and beans and one of their puffy tacos. We also ordered the chips and salsa & cheese dip. The cheese dip was sent back to be rewarmed as it arrived lukewarm. The check came to nearly $50 for two which for lunch is a bit pricey for a fast food Mexican meal. I'm glad we tried Jonsey's but we didn't fall in love.
Absolutely love the Buffalo tacos with chicken. They have amazing food and the powered sugar funnel cake fries were a good end to the meal. All the staff was super friendly and the owner was there helping out the staff also. While in there it has a small town feel with the sit where you want policy. All in all its a great place that I have visited on numerous occasions and will continue to go back. I almost forgot to mention the cheese and meat dip as an appetizer is a must!!
Big fan of Jonesy’s from my days at CSG so we ordered food for 20 high school baseball players and it did not disappoint. Great to see Summer too!!!
Jonesy's was our caterer for our rehearsal dinner and they were absolutely amazing!! They were beyond helpful, delivered everything we needed to our venue and made the whole process a breeze! Everyone raved about the tacos and the cheese dip! We would definitely recommend Jonesy's for your catering! Or anytime your craving tacos. :)

Meat was the consistency of rubber, queso was microwaved, and the entree had a puddle of grease soaking the entire bottom of the bowl. Their website says food is prepared fresh everyday, that couldn't be further from the truth. $40 for two entree's that were slapped on the plate and zapped in a microwave is modern day robbery. Wouldn't feed any of it to my dog.
Jonesy's in council bluffs is a lot better. This food was bland and didn't have any plate appeal. Even after 2 pitchers.
First time and it's OK. Have heard good things about the tacos and wanted to find out. Ordered tacos and beans and rice. The beef tacos were fried and nicely filled with goodness and justified a 4 star rate. The beans didn't have a homemade flavor but more of something canned and dry. Now the rice was way over seasoned with cumin and totally took away from the dish. This took the rating down to 3 stars. Also tried the chips and salsa and were a combination of fried flour and also corn chips and included sauce was tasty. So will this be on the short list for future taco needs, could be if just for tacos.
I love Jonesy's. The food is always fantastic and the staff is very polite and friendly. I highly suggest this establishment.
Fast service, but one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Everything honestly seemed store bought. I am convinced the bean dip was a can of refried beans with melted American cheese. The chicken taco was mediocre. I hate being this negative but if you’re looking for quality food, keep driving.
