I couldn't figure out Jackson Street Tavern. It has some haute cuisine menu items, and high quality craft beer and cocktails, but it's not well-maintained and the interior is much closer to a locals' bar than a fancy restaurant. The food and service were good overall.
Came through here on our road trip and had a wonderful lunch! We got the power Caesar salad and the steak - both were very tasty! Service was really friendly as well.
Went to grab a bite to eat and some drinks. Never been there before and I absolutely will be back when I'm in the area. Had the Ahi tuna nachos absolutely fantastic. Had two cocktails called runners. They were almost too good! Jack was behind the bar and was fantastic! He was so nice as well as the other gentleman who made my drinks I feel bad I didn't get his name. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be coming back.
First thing you have to know is that the entrance is a bit awkward. The hostess stand is a lot further into the restaurant than expected. The food has its own unique flair and the drinks are good. It's a bit tight inside, but the garage door being open helps make it feel more open and the fresh air is nice. The patio is a great spot to people watch.
I had a very impressive salad that more than filled me up. The service was quick and good. There is a small but comfortable outdoor dining area along Jackson.
The Ruben sandwich was on the dry side. BUT, other than that, the experience was great. Our waiter was Fabulous! He not only suggested a wonderful wine (based upon my wife's taste), but had a great suggestion for a park for our family reunion (we are not from Omaha). Also, my wife said her French dip was delicious.
We had brunch here on a Sunday at 10am. The chicken and waffles had chives and bacon added, which added a unique flare... And it really works, it was terrific. The French toast had raisins which was unique and terrific as well. I would highly recommend this place. Casual vibe with a great patio.
The Seafood pasta dish was very delicious!!! Scallops, shrimp and lump crab, with a great flavor??
These taquitos are delicious and everybody should order them to start!
my family and i called and made a reservation and got seated right away when we arrived. our party ordered an appetizer along with five different entrees, all surpassed our expectations. the best part of our experience was our server, Chris. he took great care of us and radiated positivity while doing so. excellent service and superb flavors. 10/10 recommend.
