I tried veg thali and was surprised to see many dishes! The taste was also good and after long time happy to see these many varieties in Thali!
Sad! Not sure what happened at Hyderabad house since the last time I was there.. this year. But whatever has happened has created a low quality butter chicken. We usually order butter chicken from here 3-4 times a year because it's my favorite place to get it from. No longer the case. Tonight's butter chicken was swimming in grease and we each had maybe 4 pieces of chicken in it. For $15 an entrée, I genuinely felt ripped off. Enough to take my butter chicken loving butt somewhere else. I don't really want to give them another shot because I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing when they spooned 4 pieces of chicken in the dish.Kinnaras butter chicken for $16 is a great value, I just always liked Hyderabad houses version a little bit more.I will miss the old version here without the grease!
The restaurant ambience was good and the staff was prompt in taking orders. The Goat Fry briyani was good. Though stated as Medium it was slightly more spicy than I expected. Recommend those who aren't fond of spiciness to try mild spicy
Excellent Hyderabadi Biryani. The staff are very friendly. Their prices are reasonable and the quantity is a lot. Great ambiance too. Enjoyed everything we ate. Will go back again when we visit Omaha.
Hyderabad House was a nice surprise, we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to stop in for dinner. The food was extremely flavorful; my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We will definitely stop in again.
Good hospitality, greatly improved in time to deliver the food. But I see a change in the food taste with the new management change.Biryani is spicy but that not necessarily translates to being flavorful. Its just hot!
The owners & staff were friendly! But, the one thing that disappointed me is the value of money. I have traveled quiet a lot of places but this place charging more than required is not what I expected plus the food tasted just average.PS : the choice of the customer is always value of money being directly proportional to quality of the food you receive. It is just the opposite here!
I have eaten at many Indian restaurants around the world and the dishes at Hyderabad House are some of the best I’ve had. For sure in Omaha. We’ve even expand our taste buds trying new dishes each time, except for our 9 year old son who swears by the butter chicken and Samosas. He likes both mild and baby mild, they both have a kick. Giving it a 99/100!Their chicken wings Tanghi Kebab, under Tandoori are amazing and worth any additional wait. Last night we had new favorites the Safed Maas with Lamb (rich and meat tender, great if avoiding night shades like tomatoes) and the Andhra Curry with chicken. The only food dilemma is the naan, they are on the thin side compared to most Indian restaurants puffed breads, but still delicious.Nice wine list and Indian beers. The service is good, just be patient with some staff that has some language challenges. It has a nice casual atmosphere, kid friendly. I’m not sure when this restaurant got it’s makeover but we like it. It’s a more modern and fun. Not your typical traditional Indian dècor like it’s precious look.We look forward to our next adventure at Hyderabad! For sure our new favorite restaurant for family dinner. (Might have to snag my son’s leftovers for lunch today.)
This was my first time going to this place and it will also be my last. The food was cold and distasteful, and I had to wait for my food for at least 30 minutes even though I had called in for my order half an hour before I got there. They also had the audacity to charge me $11 extra for having “a large group of people”, even though we were only 4 people. To add to insult they had terrible customer service. Our waitress had an attitude with us anytime we would ask for something. I don’t know why this was, but she had kept this attitude throughout the whole time we had been there. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody, but if you do go there I want you to know our waitress’s name was “Sapna”.
The dishes and flavors are outstanding! Great service and very chill ambiance. Love this place!
