We stopped at Hook & Lime after a day at the Omaha Zoo. My margarita made with jalapeño vodka was SPICY but refreshing. We tried several things in the menu and all of it was tasty. Great, unique stop in downtown.

This is the first time my wife and I have eaten here and it was pretty good, I would honestly say 4.5 Star worthy and I will tell you why.We started with a beverage each and the salsa trio with guacamole. The salsa, guacamole, and chips were awesome. Salsa were homemade and chips we nice thick and crispy and not overloaded with salt! My wife ordered the Tamale, corn salad with rice and beans. I ordered three individual tacos (Chile Shrimp, Seared Tuna, and Chorizo and Potato). Again, the food as a whole was very good. My tacos came out luke warm. The slaw on two of the tacos was chilled so I thought maybe the tacos are meant to be cold, but wasn’t sure. I feel they would have been more tasteful if they were warm. I believe they were done cooking before my wife’s dish so they were held until both meals were ready, which I respect that.Flavors were good and the house infused tequilas were awesome, and I’m not a tequila person! Service was great, atmosphere was real good, AC could be turned off as it was 45 degrees out.Overall good experience, just a couple tweaks needed!
The food and Margaritas were fantastic. The flavor profiles were diverse and pleasing. No cheap margarita mix here, delicious variety, not overwhelmingly sweet, and you could actually taste the quality Tequila. I wasn't crazy about the lighting, kinda felt like I was sitting in a toaster oven, very bright. If you like mushy beans, piles of lettuce, am globs of shredded American cheese don't go here. If you like something unique, it's a must visit.
This place is a gem!!! We walked in 45 mins before closing and you would have never known it!! We were greeted by thee most professional, kind, informative man!! He was the bartender/host/ just awesome! We had just been snubbed by the Burger Theory place so we were on the hunt for food! This place saved the day! The great things was, every waiter and waitress said hi to us when we came in! Our waitress was a young woman who was so polite and informative about the place and the menu! We ordered right away, food was out 15mins later. Hot and so good!! We will definitely come back here for the service and food!!
Great service and the food was great!!? Got the seared tuna and brisket tacos ?. Local IPA was good too (Fairy Nectar) ?. Coming back next week, definitely stopping back in
I had the delicious chicken enchiladas there where very tasty, the atmosphere here is edgy and clean. They have tons of unique drinks and tacos! The service was amazing.
My hubby and I are OBSESSED! Ever since we discovered this hidden gem we visit at least once a week. The tacos are TO DIE FOR and their infused tequila shots and mixed drinks are unmatched. The servers are always so nice and it feels like such a personable experience. I will continue to come here for all of our date nights and family dinner nights out!
Came in for a margarita (which was exceptional) and had the lobster tacos…absolutely delicious! Every bite…from the guacamole with house made chips, to the dipping sauces. Everything was perfect! And excellent service. Can’t wait to go back!
