Nice hotel in Omaha downtown, able to walk around easily to shops/restaurants. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet. Would Recommend. This was a one night stop for us on way to Mt Rushmore. We are always happy at Hilton Garden Inns. Cute downtown area. Nice playground area for kids w a few large slides.
If your looking for a quiet place to sleep, this is not the place. I know they can’t help it either but cars/motorcycles were racing up and down the street all weekend keeping kids up. Beds were very uncomfortable. Tv worked once in awhile, had to unplug/replug it back in to get it to work. Breakfast was good and the pool was ok.
Nice room at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, you have to pay to park. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Old Market district and they also offer a free shuttle service to the airport and the Old Market.Friendly staff, lovely location.
I made reservation by phone, to clarify what I was seeing on-line. Cassandra was very helpful on phone and at the desk when I checked in. My highest compliment is when people provide good service and seem to enjoy providing that. No drama. And this hotel did that. (I also had time to walk around Old Market area on a Friday evening. Riverfront walk. Good place to walk.)
Great location. Easy parking , great staff . However, our room was NOT clean . Bathroom tile floor was sticky and showed a recent non-cleaned up spill . Rooms were remodeled, but not fully , as bathroom fixtures were old . Not sure we’d stay here again even as Hilton Honors members .
In the end, turned out to be a great stay and experience with exceptional location to the college world series. For future reference, would definitely not recommend leaving voicemails to notify guests when you are attempting to cancel their guaranteed, paid room reservation that was booked through Hilton direct.
Great downtown area. Hotel had a nice steakhouse and bar. Rooms were fine. And there's a great cigar bar less than a quarter mile walk.
The hotel staff was nice. The room was clean. We only stayed one night as we were traveling through. There was street racing going on until 2:30 am which isn’t the hotels fault but was very loud. It was easy to get to from the highway and close to all the activity in the old market area.
Chad was able to get us a room at the last minute, as we checked out of another hotel due to problems. He even arranged for us to stay a second night without reservations. This was during Creighton's graduation and everything was very busy. Well above and beyond. We will certainly stay here again.
Easy to find- you just roll in from the interstate. Good unloading area & secure multi-storey parking next door with easy indoor access to the hotel. Reasonable location for the Old Market area which is good for restaurants. Check-in was fine (perhaps overenthusiastic) & the room itself adequate but I did find it somewhat noisey in the early morning rush hour. I felt the old windows were not as sound proofed as they should have been- there was a draft beside them I did mention this when I was asked how my stay had been & the receptionist said that's what happens when the hotel is close by the busiest intersection in the city. I would have prefered it if she hadn't added that she was surprised at the room I was given as the hotel wasn't full & they usually put guests on inner facing rooms for this reason There is a smart steak bar restaurant called Spencer's attached to the hotel. Undoubtedly this is a good business option but I felt it a bit over priced & the staff a bit too effusive. Do you know the concierge in the TV programme Upload? Well, this. Didn't use the hotel for breakfast- the eating area just see ed a bit of an after thought Overall, it's fine I guess. But I would probably choose elsewhere on room noise risk alone
