The food is always amazing and well priced. The people, however, are the best thing about this place

I continue to try giving Harold's about chance.Today was the last time I will EVER go there again1) took over 40 minutes to get 2 pancakes & 2 eggs over easy with toast.2) to watch someone come sit down after we did, get their food & check before we even got our food3) our waitress was just rude, tried to charge us for 2 coffee when we only got 1 coffee.NEVER AGAIN WILL WE ENTERHarold's Cafe
Breakfast nachos amazing. Served on potato pancakes and ranchero sauce drizzled on. Yum! Great waitress!!
As an assistant general manager for a major Fast Food Store I understand that you get busy however I came into this establishment today sat down at one of the stools I received menu but that was it! i waited almost 15 minutes and got no service however the couple that walked in 10 minutes after me sat down right next to me at the same bar stools and they immediately brought them coffee and water. I then lets the server know abiut the issue and she had no response she just looked at me I then left the restaurant and called inside to speak with the manager. He apologized and stated they were busy I understand they may be busy but how does someone that comes in 10 minuets after me get served before me????
If you haven't been here, you don't know what amazingness you're missing! Friendly staff, the best food, and pancakes bigger than your face. Literally!
An excellent traditional diner vibe. They are busy! We had one waiter working the WHOLE dining room on Monday morning when we went. She was super friendly and a crazy good waitress. More signs of the covid staffing shortage.The two of us were less than $40 with drinks (see coffee and oj) and I got the most expensive thing on the menu. The dining room layout is effective at breaking up the sound and has a good flow for the staff. There are 2 entrances, so getting a table can be a little weird but you will get a table quickly.Would highly recommend if you are looking for a traditional diner experience.
I was here on travel for work, and this place was recommended. It was a great find and I enjoyed my meal here. The service was great, the staff was very friendly. When the waitress found we had not been here before she recommended the doughnuts first. Then helped us pick out a meal. Everything was great and I will be back when I come to work.
It has been years since I have been here and it is still the same. Old time diner with great food and service in the heart of Florence. The waitress provided great service, being prompt and kept the coffee and water full. The food was good as well. The only opportunity I would say is getting the tables cleaned off quicker for the next guests, as they were busy for a Thursday morning. Other than that, the experience was good and would recommend stopping.
I ordered the chicken fried steak lunch meal and it was awesome. Love coming here with great service to down right awesome food. Thank you for making my day.
