Lunch buffet was delicious! Just what I'd hoped it would be, good mix of rice heavy dishes and sauce heavy dishes, had naan and mulligatawny soup as well as a selection of chutneys, fruit and a salad option. Went on a Saturday and they had a bit of trouble keeping everything stocked.
The food was really good! We got chicken pakora, lamb tikka masala, and butter chicken, and everything was tasty and flavorful. It's a little overpriced, but the portions are large (we definitely had leftovers). I think there was only one person working when we went in, so the service was a little slow and there was nobody around to seat us initially. The loud TV and continuously ringing bell on the door were a little distracting. I like the chairs though, they seemed new and were quite comfortable.
I guess I was so excited about eating here I forgot to take pictures,??♂️ sorry. The food was fantastic and really hit the spot. Seemed very fresh and was served nice and hot.
We placed an order online and though it took them some time after the estimated pick up time to complete our order, it was well worth the wait. We ordered the chicken tikka, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. It was the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. Everything we ordered had great flavor/seasoning and was cooked perfectly.
Update: After speaking with the delivery company, our bank, and the restaurant owner and we have been issued a refund by the restaurant for our purchase. Thank you Flavors.Would give 0 stars if I could. We ordered delivery and never received our order and received no help from the restaurant. An hour after ordering we phoned about our missing order. They told us the order was out for delivery and to wait a little longer. After 30 more minutes we called again about our missing order. They said the order had been picked up and delivered so no refund was available. I said I believed it had been delivered to the wrong address because we do not have our food. They said they were sorry have a good night and hung up. 2 hours later we are $50 poorer and still hungry. Terrible service. Just took our $50 and ran.
Today I was exploring downtown Omaha and found this place; I decided to try it out. I ordered chicken tikka masala, it came with plain basmati rice, I added one paneer naan, and decided to try their lime soda. Everything was freshly made and full of flavor, the main dish was not too spicy but good. What really impressed me was the lime soda, that flavor brought back memories. To finish dinner I tried the gulag jamun, warm and sweet, just perfect. I highly recommend this place.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPEND 30+ MINUTES IN AGONY ON THE TOILET.I do not have a sensitive stomach. I can recommend several places that serve Indian cuisine in Omaha that will not give you explosive diarrhea. Flavors is not one of them.Wish I could give 0 stars because I have 0/10 dignity points after this experience.
Such a new look and great ambience...Thank you for this delicious and wide variety of food options.
It's been a little more than a year since I had been in for the lunch buffet. I was glad to learn they had begun offering buffet on Friday and Saturday so I stopped in for lunch today. I was a bit surprised that the place was very nearly empty at lunch hour. I remember the place being crowded during my many previous visits prior to the shutdowns. Then I discovered that the food was overly hot and understood why it's popularity has waned. Sigh
Hey!!the food is really fabulous here. Really enjoyed having such a delicious food!! I will definitely come back next tym...
