We enjoyed this place! You order everything at the counter and they bring it to you. She got the gyro platter with salad and I got the beef shawarma wrap combo with fries. We also got the El Basha tea and the Turkish coffee. They were good (coffee is strong!), though I do recommend getting one of the other -- they give you a whole pot. They play middle eastern music and the atmosphere feels authentic. There's some nice outdoor patio seating as well, so this is a perfect spot to hit up during the warmer months after an excursion at NFM.Will be returning to try other dishes. Definitely recommend.

El Basha is listed on The 38 Essential Omaha Restaurants by Eater.com. My experience was Underwhelming. The Two Ceiling Fans in the Dining area are Caked with Dust. They closed the Ladies Bathroom, so just the Men’s is Open. The Men’s Bathroom was not Clean. Started with Baba Ghanuje, tasted like Hummus. Then got the Beef Shawarma, it was just Okay. Enjoyed a Glass of Red Wine ? with my Meal. Got up to use the Restroom. Came back, my unfinished Wine ? & Food had been cleared from the Table. The Server did not have a pulse on the Environment. He was outside smoking just before I went to the Restroom. “Whoops”, is his Statement. He did offer me more Wine ? & Food. Four minutes before Closing, two Tables came into Dine. He told them that they Could only order Food To-Go. I’ve spent many years in the Food & Beverage Industry. El Basha is not a place I will Recommended.

This is a fantastic gem in the city. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming to all. Any questions on the menu are answered in a way to educate and enlighten. The food was fresh and no shortcuts are taken in presenting what I assume is authentic Lebanese cuisine. I will return again and again trying something different each time.

Super fast service and great food. Plenty of variety. The hummus was an amazing and the rice! So yummy.

High recommend! Counter service spot with incredibly fast and delicious food. The rice that came with the platter was especially noteworthy- so much flavor and the perfect underlining sweet. Prices were fair for quality and quantity. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options

Always good food and great portions!! ??

Last night was our first experience at El Basha and it was INCREDIBLE! We were absolutely blown away at the service and the food blew our minds! We will definitely be back very soon!

Quaint restaruant with a wide variety of flavors and food options. Very pleased. The salads were large and fresh and meals left room for yummy leftovers. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. They have some nice wines and beers on site to compliment your meal. We want to go back and try other items on the menu. Enjoy

It is not a huge venue, but it was fantastic food and a great environment. My gyro was amazing, and their titziki sauce was amazing. Service was fast, friendly, and interactive. I'll be back for sure.

The place has a casual, laid-back feel. Upon entering, you order at the cashier where you’re given a number for them to bring your food. The menu offers a good variety of food for various dietary restrictions. The food came out fast and was warm. Everything we ordered tasted great, especially the hummus! To add to the charm of this place, it’s family owned and many of the family members were working there. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The only draw back was that it was drafty and fairly cold. They did have a space heater at the entrance but that didn’t seem to help much.
