It's part of downtown Omaha by the stadiums and old market area. It fits in with the environment, sports bar and beer garden.Service was par for the course. A little slow; however, only appeared to be one server. Food was good. It was a Monday so all the burgers were on a discount. That might have factored into the long wait for the food.Overall it wasn't anything outstanding but wasn't something to complain about either.
Decent bar food, not so friendly bartender and management was loud, rude and disrespectful with foul language about a customer who was trying to pay for his order with CashApp.. Smh ??♀️
I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of food for what's really a sports bar. I had the Patti melt and added bacon and my wife had a turkey burger. The waitress was working very hard to keep up with the MCWS crowd.
WOW...Awesome experience!!! We had a group of 40+. 10 adults 30 kids. During CWS. They opened up an area, kept the beers coming for the adults, got the kids drinks and fed right away. Blown away by the service!!!
Good drink special prices. Chopped salad was well constructed with tasty fresh ingredients. Lots of tvs (almost too many).
Food was good but service was slooow and nonexistent. Waited 10 minute just for water and an additional 1/2 hour for food. Server was unattentive, left us the whole entire time after she finally brought my water. She did not bring us any silverware or napkins after the food was served by another staff. Again we waited. When we went up to the servers station for napkins, one server said "we're a little busy right now honey". Oh gosh just stop honeying people already. The place was not even half full and 4 servers were just standing around. You cannot not give people silverware and napkins, and not check on your customers at all. We also had to wave our server down for a check. Management is completely absent and not training their rude and lazy front of the house staff. This place does not represent downtown Omaha. This has to be the worst in the area.Downtown DJ'sDugout management, your response is wrong to say that DJ'sDugout isn't for everyone. You should include everyone and should be consistent with your service to everyone. Your Aksarben location does way better than you.
It is a god place to go for food and drinks. It gets loud on the weekend nights and the food and serv ice are definitely good. What I don't like about the management/owners is that they fired a staff member after the gov of Nebr paid a call in 2021. The staff member then made a neg comment about him (not hard to do, he's a worthless state executive), it went public and then they fired her. Not very cool
Just went there on 04/01/22 prior to the Bon Jovi concert. Our waiter was good and attentive, BUT the bar staff was RUDE. All I wanted to do is play a few games of Keno and I was informed several time how busy they were and Keno would be shutting down soon (at 6:00 p.m.) Yes, the bar was busy, but did they not know ahead of time that Bon Jovi was coming?
I have been going to DJ's Dugout downtown for several years, usually prior to a concert at the venue across the street. We went this past Friday prior to the Bon Jovi concert and the customer service was awful. My family and friends who were there enjoy playing Keno while enjoying a night out. Two of the slightly bearded gentlemen working behind the bar were just plain rude. They would ignore us for 10-15 minutes at a time when we brought our Keno tickets to be played or redeemed, and then when they did help they huffed and puffed and slammed stuff around. I know Keno isn't probably top priority at your bar, especially during a pre concert night, but there was no excuse for the way we, and other patrons were treated.
Food was good, service was very slow and poor. Ended up going to the bartender to order drinks and get waters. Had to grab our own silverware and napkins from the server station Asked for sauces multiple times and never received.
