We chose to dine in, which was a mistake. The floors were sticky, the tables were filthy, and just the cleanliness in general was lacking. I'm glad we don't eat here often bc judging by how bad the dining area was, makes me wonder about how filthy the food area is where workers prep food and store food to serve to customers. Overall, I think all DQ's are going downhill bc I've eaten at other locations, and the same disgust at the other locations, too.
Can't get an online order correctly. Ordered the new blizzard based on the "dirt and worms" ice cream treat. Literally did not get a single gummy worm and nothing but an oreo blizzard. I don't mind an oreo blizzard, but a wrong order is a wrong order. I don't know how someone can mess up a simple concept as vanilla ice cream, gummy worms, and oreo. It's all in the name.
6/17/2022I haven't been to this location for years. The facility itself is rather shaby. In need of a major tune up. The parking lot was a mess. We got caught up in the drive through line when we only wanted to park and go in the lobby.When we got there, there was a family in line that couldn't make up their minds what they wanted and the cashier appeared to be inexperinced. We must have stood in line for 10 minutes before we made it to the counter and there was only one family and one individual in front of us. At some point I'd think someone more experienced would take over and make helpful suggestions.I got the hotdog combo meal. The portions were smallish and the bottom half of the bun was hard. The hotdog was fine, the fries were not that good. I also got a bite of my wife's hamburger, which was fairly tasteless. A part of our meal was missing, my wife had to go ask for cup, and the drink dispenser didn't have any ice in it. ? ?
The service or lack of service tonight was the worst! They let a line of cars sit for over 20 minutes while not even taking orders. When finally reaching the ordering spot I asked why the wait. I was told the speaker did not work. Had someone come out to let the customers know we would have had the option of coming in or leaving. Many left anyway. Very poor customer service. Very disappointed.
This location is terrible! The drive through line was wrapped ok I get it it’s 100 degrees out and everyone wants ice cream and I’m ok with that which is why I chose to go inside! A nice young man took our order idk if he was new or not but he needed help the “general manager “ then proceeded to help him take our order. After paying for our items 2 blizzards mind you.. we stood for nearly 20 minutes while they proceeded to take a family of 8s order and completed their entire order before they had even had paid. When asked where our order was the “general manager” stated oh my bad didn’t know it didn’t get done. At this point I no longer wanted my ice cream. I asked for a refund which she stated was against the rules. She proceeded to be condescending and very rude. After asking for my receipt which was provided she then asked if I paid cash or card. I said cash I just gave you my receipt it’s right in front of you. She acted as if I had smacked her in the face stating she was trying to be as helpful as possible. She was not helpful in anyway. I would not recommend this location at all. Not only was the service terrible. The building was sweltering hit and the cleanliness was next to non exsistent. If I could give this a negative star I would.
The staff at this location are always nice! I stop by once every couple months for food if not the icecream.i very much appreciate the Good service just needs a remodel! I
I give it 2 stars just because the MOD (not from that location) made it right. I was picking up a pre-ordered cake for my sister and it hadn't been made yet. This location has gone down hill. My sister has been ordering her DQ cakes from here for 4 years and it just keeps getting worse. The last time they couldn't find it and had to add the lettering to it and the outside pavement just keeps getting worse and worse. A real walking hazard.
Poor service at this location. I visited this location with my child and ordered an ice cream cone and a medium cookies and creme blizzard. They got the cone done quickly, however, I waited another 30 minutes before I got my blizzard. Luckily one of the employees noticed how long I had been waiting and made it right away. Still very disappointing how long it took to get me a blizzard.
This DQ needs to be shut down. It's filthy in side.... employees not wearing gloves & rude as hell & clearly hate their jobs. I ordered a hotdog for $3.71 with light ketchup & mustard. I got a raw cold hotdog swimming in ketchup and mustard with stale bread. They even had the nerve to have me pull up because it wasn't ready. It wasn't ready when you slapped it on that hard bread & brought it out to me. I've been in the area for over 13yrs & there is ALWAYS an issue. I'M TOTALLY OVER IT!!
Going to Dairy Queen 114th and Dodge was an absolutely horrible mistake. First of all we had to wait at least 10 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and disgusting old fries. The tiniest order of $3.39 fries I have seen. Ask for light condiments and it was gushing out. Burgers were hot, but the buns were soggy.
