If you are going to order a pickup order, call it in or order it in person. I stopped in tonight and they were very busy. I waited a little longer than promised (Maybe 10 minutes longer). My order I placed online (but did not pay for yet) got lost in the chaos. Both the manager and the guy working the front desk were both apologetic. I was in no hurry, so it wasn't a problem. The food was worth the wait. It was so hot and tasted so good. I will definitely be back.
I'd give it 5 stars for experiences, I just didn't love the food. We did the Hot Pot BBQ, where you get all your food raw & you cook it over a fire right at your table. So that was different & seems fun at first. Thats were we start to lose stars. The meat was lacking flavor besides the char from the fire, and it was sliced too thin, it just shriveled up as it cooked & got super tuff to eat. And there weren't very many choice to try to add flavor. I recommend visiting once if you are adventurous and looking for something outside the box!
Food is fair but certainly not the best Asian style food in Omaha. Facilities are mostly clean, outdated. Three stars given as service is anything but friendly. Not unfriendly mind you, they just seem to be uninterested in the customer. Little eye contact, didn't respond when I asked how he was doing. Better service and MUCH better food is found at Golden Mountain.
This place has gotten better. I was afraid to try it because I saw all the bad reviews, but a friend wanted to go so we did. The sesame chicken was really good! Crunchy on the outside and very flavorful! Also got the dumplings and veggie fried rice. Everything tasted great! Will go back.
Pros: Good food, fun experience, and they serve alcohol! The server with the short hair is polite, smiles even when we are being a nuisance, and checks on us frequently even though she is busy.Cons: They force a 15% tip but do not say nor is it posted anywhere, you find out about this until after you have paid. The tall, thin waiter with glasses is rude, un helpful, and dull. Talking to your hot pot would be more enjoyable than talking to him.
Breading on chicken had NO flavor. Same with the egg rolls, the wrap itself had no flavor. You can't fry things in water but it sure tastes like it! Sweet an sour sauce was watered down too much also.
I would not recommend. They need to hire some new cooks! Feels like no effort in the cooking. Maybe it's better to go in person than order from Uber eats
I love their beef broccoli. My son and I get their food to go at least once a month. Their almond chicken is good too.
I give 5 star for the hotpot in Omaha. I haven't try other foods. We were here at 3pm and a little nervous because not many people. The food is delicious. There are many options to order than other place I tried. I would definitely come back here again. BTW, I came here before by myself and they cannot make a hotpot for one. You need at least two people. ? Also it's all you can eat for hotpot.
Just went here with my family (2 adults, 3 kids (older kids)). The service was terrible, needed refills and the first plate came out 20 minutes before the last one. Our server also said she added gratuity due to our group size... 5? Really? She really just added gratuity because she knew her service was so terrible... I used to love this place, was SO much better at the old location. Won't be back again.
