We dined in last Tuesday before a show at the Slowdown after a recommendation from locals the last time we were in line at that venue. I'm sorry I don't remember her name but whoever it was running the front of house deserves a raise. She was amazing and completely on top of things where most would be overwhelmed.My husband ordered chicken and waffles and would not shut up about it. I don't think I've ever heard him praise chicken like that before.I wasn't able to initially order what I wanted but decided on the veggie burger. I basically reworked the entire sandwich and apologized for my obnoxious order. I was reassured several times that it was fine. After it was delivered it was exactly what I wanted plus the fries were super yummy.Please name whoever it was working the bar/front of house on the 3rd because they deserve All The Praise!
Pretzel Bites
This place was crazy on a concert night! However it looked like a game was being played at the stadium as well so totally understand their lack of seats. Once we did get a seat and managed to order our food did come very quickly and was nice and hot.
The chicken and waffles are amazing! I wasn't sure how the waffles would be since they are cornbread waffles but they are soft & fluffy just like I like em. There is just a touch of jalapeno flavor embedded in the clouds of bread ? the fried chicken to top it off with is so tender yet so crisp on the outside. My hubs got the chicken sandwich and my gosh was it good too. Great beer selection. Cute atmosphere. Don't hesitate, just come.
This was a great unique place to eat even with kids. The doors opening to the outside made the atmosphere fun. The service was great and all five of us enjoyed our food. The pretzel bites and dipping sauces were delicious!
Racist establishment.Just walked in and felt not welcomed.Ordered food through door dash. It was accepted and then canceled 20 mins later.I go to pick up my order and the bartender she yells at me if I ordered something offline we didn’t get it sorry!Blow it offOk fine understood. Things happen all the time. She looks at me like why I am still here. I tell her I would like to make an order and proceeds to make my order.When she hands me the food it’s with contempt.Get home and yes exactly what I hoped she didn’t do. Food isn’t done. Hurts man I tipped also to try show gratitude. Don’t go here man. Sad.Get that hate out your heart.
5 stars for being open and Katie is the best server in the world who makes the most fabulous Long Island ice tea! Highly recommend!
Location, Location, Location! This is a great party spot during CWS, but be warned, it will be PACKED and prices are not cheap! You might end up waiting in line to get in if during peak times but the party atmosphere is one of the best in the area! Will always be back anytime we go to CWS!
Their red quinoa and beet burger is probably the best veggie burger I've eaten! The beer cheese soup was also excellent. Very good service and convenient location from our hotel (Hampton).
We went for a private roof top party. Downtown parking is horrible and the directions to get up to the rooftop were nonexistent but when we got there it was absolutely beautiful. Loved the views and the overall ambiance. I would love to come back here for a party.
