Best burgers in town, hands down. German beer selection is fantastic. Great ambiance and beer garden.

Very neat outdoor patio. We had a burger that was amazing pickled jalapenos and the chicken Cesar was fabulous. I liked the ordering process, it's up to date and easy to use

Heard great things about their food so wanted to come check it out. Sat down at the bar and immediately had a person next to me become confrontational and tried to fight me because he said I touched hi bag. I just got up and left after not feeling safe. Didn't try the beer or food. Did not feel safe or welcomed. Been to around 10 breweries in Omaha and this one was the worst experience.

Were in Omaha and did a search for dog friendly restaurant/bar and this came up. Glad we went. The staff was very helpful getting our dog water, setting up an umbrella and getting a fan going in the outside area. Oh, and the food was great. Had the pretzel and another appetizer - excellent. Got a kale salad and my son got burger and fries- everything was great.

This used to be one of my favorite spots for a beer and a meal. I’m not sure if they have new management, but on my last couple of visits the service has left a lot to be desired. I understand many places are struggling with staffing, but the problem with the service here is more than lack of staff. We waited 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and then went inside where the server was just standing at the bar. We were told to head back out and our order would be taken. Our drinks finally arrived after 25 minutes. We ordered an appetizer and two meals which came out all at once and was all cold. We asked for silverware and sauces and did not receive them. When we finished we had to track down our server to close out. I’ve been many other places that have been short staffed and have been able to handle it. Save your money and go somewhere else.

German-inspired fare with a nice variety of beers and some fun cocktails. Open space with a lot of communal seating, nice for a group. Clean bathrooms, too! Staffing seemed tight (as is common right now), so leave yourself plenty of time if you're having a meal. There was some trouble with the tech for taking orders and another group's tab for added to ours, but staff eventually got it ironed out. Definitely some hiccups, but still a nice experience and I would definitely go back.

Went in after traveling all day as the first restaurant on our Omaha vacation. When we got there we were offered a food menu and an option to sit inside or out. We chose to sit outside. Our server took our drink and appetizer order in a fairly timely fashion but never returned with our daughters drinks or our waters, just the beers. After getting our appetizer and waiting and waiting for our server to come back for our food order I finally had my partner go inside as it was 8 and we had a hungry toddler with us. They informed us for the first time the kitchen was actually closed. We were never informed upon arriving or ordering our appetizer that the kitchen was nearing close. The staff inside were super kind and allowed us to order which is the only reason this wasn’t a one star experience. Unfortunately the food was pretty sub par as well and the service continued to get worse. For $16 I expected the chicken on the salad to be more than just frozen soggy chicken tenders from the kids menu. I’ve had better salads at Wendy’s to be honest. The burgers were greasy and definitely didn’t seem like the high quality meat that’s advertised on the menu. After only bringing out half our order the server abruptly told us he was “heading out” and asked if we needed anything else. We politely notified him we’d like the rest of our food and asked if we needed a bill to pay or if we just would go up to the bar when we were done since he hadn’t brought one and we had never eaten there before so we weren’t sure of protocol. He replied “it was fine because all the tips were shared”…I further explained I still wasn’t sure who to pay or how to know how much we owed. We eventually got everything we ordered and the bill but we felt robbed of $80 we felt would have been better spent on fast food.

I've been to Barchen a handful of times, but this afternoon was disappointing. I sat back on the patio and waited for over 15 minutes without being greeted. Someone finally acknowledged my party's presence, but alas, I was still waiting. I have difficulty remaining chill when people who arrive after me get served before me. We left after 20 minutes with no service. The only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars is the food was decent upon previous visits.

When I saw the beer menu, I was excited. It’s too bad that, despite waiting for 15 minutes, my friends and I were never acknowledged by the staff so we left. I doubt anyone even noticed us walk out. Too bad. Fortunately, a neighboring establishment, which was far busier, was able to accommodate us.

So so happy we chose to have supper here! Traveling with three kids is tricky but the staff here were very understanding and helpful. Our waitress was patient with us while we figured out what we wanted to order and told us there was a connect four game that our kids could play with. The food and beer came out quickly and were delicious! The kids meals are huge portions and good quality. The staff checked in with us often to see if they could get us anything or take any dishes out of our way.
