Beer Bar Pizza

Very delish, approximately 8 by 5 inch rectangular Detroit style pizza. Nice, crunchy crust and lots of sauce make this more like an Italian casserole than a pizza. Caesar salad is large, simple, but tasty consisting of Romaine lettuce, croutons, Romano cheese, and dressing. Service was great, too.

What stands out for this pizzeria is the long rectangular wooden tables, and you order food and your drink at the bar which is where customers pay.I was greeted after I entered the pizzeria. I was very happy drinking Coca Cola because Coca Cola is my favorite soda.I enjoyed eating the Detroit classic which is double pepperoni and classic red sauce. The Detroit style pizza is a unique delicious pizza because it’s a crunchy pizza, the thick squared style pizza is why 4 slices did fill me up.The crispy caramelized cheese crust has a satisfying cheesy flavor, also delicious is the sweet classic red sauce. The pepperonis have a strong flavor. All reasons why I say the Detroit classic is a delicious pizza.

The pizza was really good and so happy they have vegan cheese available. It's not on the menu but you can ask to have it put on the veggie pizza. I felt that service was a little slow considering the dining room wasn't very full, but they may be under staffed like a lot of other places.

We had Detroit pizza and drinks. Both were very good. We thought the Detroit style pizza was outstanding, it was our 1st time and was not disappointed. Will now put the Backlot on our restaurant rotation.

The Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza was delicious. Great selection of beers. Wecreally liked the Pineapple Cinnamon beer. Nice atmosphere. Liked that they have games you can play while waiting for food or having a few drinks.

Macaroni and cheese pizza was a new experience but amazing! Caesar salad was good! Great selection of beer on tap.

Great place for pan pizza and craft beers!! The food was great! All of the wait staff was very friendly expect for the blonde behind the bar. She took my order but failed to tell me to take a number then when delivering my pizza, she, extremely rudely, told me I should have taken a number from the bar. I am in town for one night and NOT a local. Nice way to treat a guest, whatever!! I would still recommend because the food was great and it is veteran owned. Some people are just miserable. Not my fault. ??‍♀️

This location has vegan cheese now! Got an onion and green pepper pizza with buffalo sauce (all vegan) and the cheese was melty and the whole thing was delicious. They have a veggie pizza that you can easily swap out the cheese or build your own pizza. Super chill and fun atmosphere with games and cool bartenders. Lots of good rotating beers and ciders. Gluten free crust and ciders too for people avoiding eating gluten.

Great deep dish pizza. Friendly staff. I'm not a beer drinker but if you are they have alot of really great (and many local) beers on tap.

Overall the experience was underwhelming. The food and beer choices were great. However when I went to order that's where things fell off the rails. I was the only one at the bar. The bartender/waitress? was real snotty. I mentioned it was my first time there, but she was real short. Demanded that I know my table number. Whenever I ordered a drink, she asked who made the beer, which required me to read the name off of the menu behind her. My second beer order she did the same. I ordered a chocolate stout. She hands me an IPA. I bring it back and she says in a snotty tone "what's wrong". I point out the obvious. She then gets me the correct beer, but overfills it and I'm left dripping beer back to my seat. Finally, my food came out late. My wife was done with her pizza by the time mine even arrived. The waiter was nice and apologized, and said something about how my order got lost in the mix. That's something you want to hear. Again, overall underwhelming experience. BTW we were there on a Saturday around 7pm. Not overly busy, so didn't feel the service should be lacking
