This place is awesome. Great chicken and home made ranch sauce. The stories about the raccoons and cats are true. Just go.
Been going here my whole life, it's fantastic. Best fried chicken I've ever had, the staff is always so kind and sweet, the place is always immaculately clean, and I love watching the animals. Only thing that could be called a downside is every single time your food comes out so incredibly hot that you have to either sit there in torture while it cools enough to eat or fully obliterate your mouth eating it right away (worth it)
This place holds so many memories growing up and being able to share that with my son. Even when it's been years since my last visit they still recognize me. With summer approvhing they do have outdoor seating which expands the seating. If your interested in seeing the raccoons I would recommend going after dark but it gets busy and wait times can be long however worth it for the friendly service and amazing chicken. FYI the chicken is amazing day or night.
Always really good chicken. Always fresh Always packed dining area for good reason. Your wait to get your order will be a while but it's well worth it. It's obvious that chicken is cooked to perfection not overdone and dry nor is it undercooked and dangerous. Your hot foods come almost too hot to eat right away and in my opinion is good and your cold foods come cold. The wait staff are slow to get to everyone on drink refills and that's consistent from the several times I've been there the positive negative and indifferent. Best chicken in Omaha in my personal opinion.
The Alpine Inn has the absolute best Chicken in the Region. This landmark establishment has been in the same family for half a century. Their food has never changed in taste. Outstanding! Definitely recommend Alpine Inn!
I've been to this place at least a 100 times only had two bad experiences to be honest. Chicken is awesome and those fluffy potato wedges you have a hard time eating right away because they come out steaming. Only take away is in the winter you can't add enough heat to stay warm in this place and I understand why. It's those windows, but you can't take the Windows away because you might miss the attraction. So that's understandable!
The best local, no frills, fried chicken. Great portions, good prices & has a full bar. Bring cash or use the ATM - everything is cash only.
Despite being very busy and having to wait, bar staff and waitress were on point and very friendly. Would not suggest the burger as the kiddo said it was hard and not good, but the chicken and everything else was delicious. Loved seeing the wildlife munching down as we ate

Fun night out. Wings are delicious and beer is cold. If your looking for a unique night out to get a drink and some chicken. Good place. They feed the raccoons scraps out back, kids absolutely love watching them all out back.
